THE ROLE
As a Junior Product Designer, you will support the design of user interfaces and digital experiences across our product portfolio. You will contribute to UI production, assist in maintaining our design system, and take on growing ownership of marketing content assets as your skills develop. This role is structured to give you hands-on experience across the full product design lifecycle — with mentorship, feedback, and a clear path to mid-level.
Product Design & UI/UX
• Assist in designing wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity screens in Figma under the direction of a senior designer or product lead.
• Contribute to and maintain the design system — creating, updating, and documenting reusable components and style tokens.
• Support usability testing sessions and user research activities; synthesise feedback into actionable design improvements.
• Prepare annotated screen specifications and basic design requirement documentation to support developer handoff.
• Conduct design QA during development to flag visual inconsistencies and ensure design intent is maintained.
• Stay current on mobile and web design trends, accessibility standards, and emerging UX patterns relevant to our product domains.
Marketing Content Support
• Design social media graphics, email banners, promotional assets, and app store visuals using approved brand guidelines.
• Assist with writing and editing UX microcopy, tooltips, and short-form marketing content across digital channels.
• Help maintain a content library of reusable templates and assets for marketing campaigns.
Must-haves
• 1–3 years of UI/UX or product design experience, OR a strong graduate portfolio demonstrating mobile/web interface design skills.
• Working knowledge of Figma & TokensStudio— comfortable with components, auto-layout, and prototyping, design tokens.
• A solid grasp of basic UX principles: user flows, information hierarchy, visual consistency, and responsive design.
• An eye for detail — you notice when spacing is off, typography breaks hierarchy, or a button label is unclear.
• Ability to take design briefs and produce polished deliverables with minimal back-and-forth.
• Good written English — you can write clear copy and communicate design decisions simply.
Good to have
• IT background, Polytechnic/University degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or related field, or demonstrable self-taught technical curiosity.
• Basic familiarity with HTML/CSS or an interest in understanding front-end constraints.
• Experience designing for e-commerce, consumer apps, or B2B SaaS (internships count).
• Exposure to tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude — even in a learning context.
• Some experience producing marketing graphics or social media content.
