Job Summary
Join our racket sports retail team to assist customers, manage retail operations, and support sales growth while sharing your passion for badminton and pickleball.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers by answering product enquiries and recommending suitable racket sports equipment
- Deliver excellent customer service and provide after-sales support to enhance customer satisfaction
- Achieve individual and team sales targets through effective customer engagement and product knowledge
- Process cashiering and payment transactions accurately and efficiently
- Support daily retail operations to ensure smooth store functioning
- Maintain store cleanliness and uphold visual merchandising standards to create an inviting shopping environment
- Manage stock replenishment and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure product availability
- Learn and apply product specifications across major badminton and sports brands to advise customers confidently
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Passion for badminton, pickleball, or other racket sports
- Customer-oriented communication skills to engage and assist diverse customers
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Comfortable working retail hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Prior retail, sales, or customer service experience is an advantage
- Knowledge of badminton equipment is beneficial
- Experience in retail sales, inventory management, or e-commerce fulfilment is preferred
- Racket stringing experience preferred; training will be provided for the right candidate
