Job Summary
Report directly to the Project Director to lead construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery within budget and resources while managing stakeholder relationships and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead construction projects from conception to completion by scheduling deliverables and monitoring work progress to meet time, budget, and resource targets
- Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and relevant authorities to ensure project alignment and compliance
- Monitor onsite and offsite construction activities to enforce adherence to contractual obligations and building and safety regulations
- Define project scopes and objectives by engaging internal and external stakeholders and confirming technical feasibility
- Coordinate and direct internal teams including engineers, coordinators, draftsmen, and construction workers, as well as external vendors such as subcontractors and suppliers
- Conduct internal project meetings to review design and deliverables, tracking progress against project requirements
- Review design drawings to apply value engineering and assess constructability, resolving technical issues on site
- Evaluate and recommend variation advices to clients for assigned projects to manage scope changes effectively
- Develop detailed project plans for internal and external use to track progress and ensure compliance with cost reporting and manpower budgeting deadlines
- Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks proactively to prevent issues and resolve emerging problems efficiently
- Ensure construction quality standards by enforcing proper construction techniques and materials usage
- Support the Tender department by preparing technical responses and participating in client tender interviews as needed
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in LTA (MRT) projects involving Architecture, Curtain Walling, Cladding Works, Wet Trade, or RC
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
