Sales Consultant

Role Overview

The Sales Consultant is responsible for guiding customers through the full customer journey — from enquiry and product recommendation to post-sales support and coordination.

This role focuses on understanding customer needs, recommending suitable solutions, driving sales conversion, and ensuring customers receive a smooth and professional experience before and after installation.

The role plays a key part in customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and long-term brand trust within the company’s home access and security solutions business.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Sales & Consultation

•⁠ ⁠Attend to walk-in customers and assigned customer enquiries professionally

•⁠ ⁠Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products confidently

•⁠ ⁠Explain product features, pricing, warranties, and installation requirements clearly

•⁠ ⁠Follow up on customer enquiries and quotations promptly

•⁠ ⁠Build positive customer relationships through professional consultation and responsive follow-up

•⁠ ⁠Upsell suitable accessories and complementary solutions where appropriate

•⁠ ⁠Achieve assigned sales targets and performance expectations

Sales Coordination & Processing

•⁠ ⁠Prepare quotations, invoices, and required sales documentation accurately

•⁠ ⁠Maintain accurate customer records and follow-ups using company systems and communication platforms

•⁠ ⁠Collect and verify customer information for installation coordination

•⁠ ⁠Coordinate closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth job handover

•⁠ ⁠Minimize operational issues caused by incomplete or inaccurate sales information

After-Sales Support

•⁠ ⁠Handle customer after-sales enquiries and support requests professionally

•⁠ ⁠Coordinate with internal teams on warranty claims, servicing arrangements, troubleshooting support, and product guidance

•⁠ ⁠Follow up on unresolved customer matters to ensure proper resolution

•⁠ ⁠Escalate sensitive or unresolved cases appropriately when required

Showroom & Team Support

•⁠ ⁠Maintain showroom cleanliness and product display presentation

Salary Structure

Job Summary

You will install wooden door, metal gate, digital door locks, doorbells, and door viewers for customers, provide clear usage instructions, and offer after-hours troubleshooting and warranty service support.

Responsibilities

• Install products that company carry at customer premises according to order specifications
• Provide clear, step-by-step instructions to customers on product usage to ensure proper operation
• Respond promptly to after-hours service calls to troubleshoot and replace digital locks under warranty
• Maintain company vehicle cleanliness and organization to ensure readiness and professionalism
• Communicate politely and considerately with customers and colleagues to foster positive interactions
• Clean and tidy the door and gate area after completing installation to maintain a professional worksite

Required competencies and certifications

• Hold a valid Class 3 driving license to operate company vehicles for service calls
• Possess at least 1 year of experience in door, lock, or carpentry trades to perform installations effectively
• Demonstrate basic English proficiency to communicate instructions and service details clearly

Installation Operations Executive

Role Overview

The Installation Operations Executive is responsible for ensuring smooth operational execution from post-sales handover to successful customer handover.

This role owns installation readiness, installer deployment coordination, logistics readiness, schedule execution, and operational issue resolution to ensure installations and deliveries are completed efficiently, accurately, and with minimal operational disruption.

The role acts as the operational control center between sales, logistics, installers, customer service, suppliers, and customers.

Primary Objectives

•⁠ ⁠Ensure every job is operationally ready before execution

•⁠ ⁠Protect installer productivity and deployment efficiency

•⁠ ⁠Minimize operational disruptions, delays, failed trips, and incomplete jobs

•⁠ ⁠Ensure smooth coordination between all operational stakeholders

Key Responsibilities

1. Installation Operations Planning & Coordination

•⁠ ⁠Manage and maintain installation schedules and deployment calendar efficiently

•⁠ ⁠Schedule jobs based on routing, workload, skillset, and job complexity

•⁠ ⁠Coordinate urgent cases, rescheduling, and deployment adjustments

•⁠ ⁠Monitor daily operational flow and job completion status to minimize travel inefficiencies and operational downtime

•⁠ ⁠Optimize manpower deployment and scheduling utilization to support efficient daily operations

2. Operational Readiness Management

•⁠ ⁠Ensure site, product, accessories, tools, and operational requirements are deployment-ready before execution

•⁠ ⁠Verify installation requirements and escalate operational risks or special site conditions proactively

•⁠ ⁠Coordinate access arrangements, missing items, and operational gaps before deployment

•⁠ ⁠Prevent failed trips, incomplete jobs, installation delays, and avoidable operational disruptions through proper readiness control

3. Installer Operations Support

•⁠ ⁠Act as the primary operational support for installers during active job execution

•⁠ ⁠Resolve operational issues efficiently by coordinating across sales, logistics, suppliers, and customer service teams

•⁠ ⁠Support installer decision-making, escalation handling, and deployment adjustments during operational disruptions

•⁠ ⁠Protect installer productivity by minimizing downtime, unnecessary interruptions, and operational inefficiencies

•⁠ ⁠Monitor installer competency gaps and highlight operational training requirements where necessary

•⁠ ⁠Ensure installers are operationally prepared to execute assigned jobs smoothly from deployment to customer handover

4. Logistics & Material Coordination

•⁠ ⁠Ensure products, accessories, tools, and operational materials are deployment-ready before execution

•⁠ ⁠Resolve stock shortages, replacement requirements, and operational material issues proactively

•⁠ ⁠Maintain operational alignment between warehouse, logistics, installers, and site requirements to minimize execution disruptions

•⁠ ⁠Reduce operational downtime caused by inventory, preparation, or material coordination gaps

5. Customer & Cross-Functional Coordination

•⁠ ⁠Manage customer communication related to scheduling, delays, access coordination, and operational changes

•⁠ ⁠Coordinate rescheduling, deployment updates, and smooth customer handover execution

•⁠ ⁠Resolve operational issues and escalations across sales, customer service, logistics, suppliers, and installers

•⁠ ⁠Maintain clear cross-functional coordination to support efficient daily operational execution

•⁠ ⁠Provide temporary operational support during peak periods or manpower shortages where required

6. Operational Monitoring & Continuous Improvement

•⁠ ⁠Monitor installation completion, delays, reschedules, and operational bottlenecks to maintain execution efficiency

•⁠ ⁠Identify recurring operational issues, workflow inefficiencies, and coordination gaps affecting operational performance

•⁠ ⁠Support implementation and continuous improvement of operational SOPs, workflows, and execution standards

•⁠ ⁠Maintain operational visibility and reporting for management review and operational decision-making

•⁠ ⁠Contribute ideas and process improvements to enhance operational scalability, efficiency, and execution quality

Requirements
