Responsibilities: 

• Support the build and modification of prototype units, including electrical harnessing, mechanical assembly, and part rework.

• Assemble PCBs, including soldering surface-mount and through-hole components. Perform expert-level rework, including fine-pitch components and BGA packages.

• Assemble complex test setups involving electrical wiring, fluid plumbing, and mechanical integration. Ensure setups are robust, repeatable, and safe.

• Collaborate with design, validation, and reliability engineers to support test planning, execution, and troubleshooting. Provide feedback to improve product design and test efficiency.

• Perform electrical and mechanical testing on high-voltage power converters, following detailed test procedures and safety protocols.

• Interpret engineering drawings and schematics to support builds.

• Own organization, cleanliness, and safety of the lab space. Ensure all tools, equipment, and test stations are calibrated, functional, and compliant with safety standards.

• Coordinate ordering, receiving, and tracking of components and consumables. Maintain inventory of critical lab supplies and test equipment

• Challenge ideas and decisions with reasoning from first principles.

• Travel to different facilities worldwide to collaborate with teams and deploy our solutions.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent hands-on experience.

• 3+ years in a lab or R&D environment, preferably working with high-voltage or power electronics systems.

• Strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

• Basic mechanical aptitude - comfortable with plumbing, fluid systems (e.g., chillers, pumps), assembling enclosures and fixtures.

• Advanced soldering and PCB rework skills, including experience with reflow and hand soldering techniques.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and setup execution.

• Familiarity with test instrumentation (oscilloscopes, power analyzers, DAQs).

Role Summary 

We're looking for a Manager, Supply Chain to lead procurement and supplier quality for our Singapore hub. Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain and Logistics, you'll manage a small team and own key supplier relationships across the Asia-Pacific region—ensuring we source the right components, from the right partners, at the right quality and cost. 

Responsibilities:  

Procurement & Sourcing 

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard regional suppliers for components and materials critical to SST and power electronics manufacturing 

• Negotiate and manage contracts with strategic partners to secure high-quality materials at competitive total cost (price, tariffs, lead time, quality) 

• Develop and maintain a healthy supplier pipeline to reduce single-source risk and support NPI timelines 

• Partner with engineering and NPI teams to support component selection and early supplier engagement 

Supplier Quality & Development 

• Own supplier qualification and ongoing performance management for the APAC supplier base 

• Conduct supplier audits and capability assessments; drive corrective actions where needed 

• Track and report supplier KPIs including quality, delivery, and responsiveness 

• Build long-term supplier partnerships that support Amperesand's growth and quality standards 

Team & Cross-functional 

• Lead and develop a small supply chain team in Singapore 

• Collaborate closely with the Global Supply Chain Managers and US-based teams to ensure regional strategy aligns with global objectives 

• Provide visibility into sourcing status, supplier risk, and material readiness to cross-functional stakeholders 

Qualifications:   

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or a related field 

• 5+ years of supply chain experience, with at least 1–2 years in a team lead or people management capacity 

• Background in procurement or supplier quality for hardware, electronics, or industrial manufacturing 

• Experience working with APAC suppliers; familiarity with regional manufacturing ecosystems (e.g. contract manufacturers, component suppliers in China, Taiwan, or Southeast Asia) 

• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills 

• Analytical and detail-oriented, with experience tracking supplier KPIs and driving performance improvements

• Identify and evaluate global suppliers; negotiate and execute contracts with strategic partners to secure high-quality materials at competitive prices 

• Drive total cost optimization (base cost, tariffs, transportation, quality, lead time) in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders

Responsibilities: 

• Lead the industrialization of new suppliers and products, ensuring a smooth transition from development to volume production. 

• Serve as the primary company representative at supplier sites, overseeing manufacturing and production activities while supporting our teams globally in driving our development & production goals.  

• Support and monitor all supplier quality initiatives to ensure compliance with company standards. 

• Collaborate with suppliers to implement and maintain quality testing procedures, ensuring components meet technical and performance requirements. 

• Act as the liaison between suppliers and cross-functional teams in Singapore and the U.S., facilitating material readiness, engineering design alignment, and seamless communication. 

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard global suppliers and establish strategic partnerships to secure high-quality materials and components that meet production requirements 

• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure supplier readiness and alignment with technical specifications, cost targets, and production timelines. 

• Monitor and control material inventory levels at suppliers to support ramp-up schedules and reduce material shortages.

• Support and optimize logistics for new suppliers and products, including transportation planning and customs requirements. 

• Support the Supply Chain team in defining and monitoring KPIs such as supplier performance, delivery timelines, quality metrics, and ramp-up success to identify areas for process improvement. 

• Partner with cross-functional teams and leadership to align supplier industrialization activities with overall business objectives and production forecasts. 

Qualifications:  

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering related field.  A master's degree is preferred.  Ideally someone with experience working on electrical power products.  

• 8+ years' experience in a mix of engineering, program management & supply chain fields with evidence showing an exceptional ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.  

• Proven experience working in an organization focused on new technologies, the NPI process, and in a startup environment.  Ideally someone that has experience developing supplier capabilities.  

• Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and customs processes.  

• Demonstrated ability to work and lead cross functionally by managing teams / projects. 

• Exceptionally strong communication skills that demonstrate an ability to communicate visually, verbally, and in writing.

Role Summary

This role is an opportunity to work with a high‑agency startup team operating in the hard‑tech and energy systems space. You will play a critical role in building and scaling the user-facing products that operators, plant managers, and enterprise stakeholders rely on every day. This is a hands-on role. You will design, build, and ship production-quality UI systems that surface complex operational data in intuitive, performant interfaces. The role requires close collaboration with backend, product, and domain expert teams — and a genuine curiosity for how AI tools can accelerate and enhance your work.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and implementation of UI systems for Amperesand's MES and ERP platforms
• Build end-to-end frontend features including data visualization, workflow management, dashboards, and real-time telemetry displays
• Develop reusable component libraries and design systems that scale across the product
• Collaborate with backend and platform teams to define APIs and data contracts that support great user experiences
• Productionize UI code with a strong focus on reliability, accessibility, performance, and maintainability

• Proficiency with modern frontend tooling (Vite, Next.js, or similar)
• Experience integrating with REST or GraphQL APIs and real-time data streams (WebSockets, SSE)

• Own embedded bootloader architecture, embedded security, and common platforms

Role Summary 

As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will design, build, and own end-to-end software systems that interface directly with energy hardware, edge compute platforms, and cloud services. You will work across the stack—from low-level systems programming on Linux-based devices to high-performance backend services and user-facing applications. This role requires strong systems thinking, excellent coding skills in modern systems languages, and a deep appreciation for reliability, safety, and performance in energy and industrial environments. 

You will collaborate closely with power firmware, infrastructure, and data teams to deliver robust, production-grade software that operates in real-world energy systems. 

Responsibilities:

• Architect, develop, and maintain full-stack software systems supporting energy and grid-connected products. 

• Build high-performance backend services and APIs using C, Go, and/or Rust for control, data ingestion, and orchestration. 

• Develop user-facing applications and internal tools that surface device health, telemetry, and system insights. 

• Design and implement software that runs reliably on Linux-based edge devices as well as in cloud environments. 

• Work with and improve Linux build systems (e.g., Make, CMake, Bazel, Yocto/Buildroot) for repeatable, reproducible builds.

Responsibilities

• Lead and build a multidisciplinary engineering organization spanning electrical, mechanical, firmware, system integration, validation, and test disciplines — hiring and developing a team of 15+ from the ground up.
• Own the full scope of special projects, validation, and test functions — establishing strategy, processes, and execution frameworks across all workstreams, with particular emphasis on power electronics validation and test.
• Drive high-priority, time-sensitive special projects that fall outside standard product development tracks — including advanced power electronics development for Solid State Transformer systems — partnering with senior leadership to scope, resource, and deliver end to end.
• Apply deep power electronics expertise to guide topology selection, magnetics design, device selection, and controls architecture across the team's programs.
• Establish and own the validation and test strategy across hardware and software systems, including test infrastructure, validation frameworks, and integration test environments.
• Oversee system integration efforts ensuring seamless interplay between electrical, mechanical, firmware, and software subsystems.
• Define org structure, roles, and career development paths; mentor and grow engineers across multiple disciplines.
• Develop frameworks for work breakdown, requirements decomposition, and design acceptance criteria.
• Partner closely with Controls and Software engineering leadership to align on shared milestones and cross-functional dependencies.
• Drive continuous improvement of test efficiency, coverage, and automation.
• Lead complex root-cause investigations across hardware, firmware, sensing, and validation domains.

Qualifications

• PhD in power electronics or a closely related field strongly preferred; Master's degree in electrical engineering or power electronics required.
• 12+ years of engineering experience with at least 5 years in a people leadership role managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Deep power electronics background — hands-on expertise in power conversion design, topology optimization, magnetics, device selection, and controls.
• Proven experience building engineering teams from scratch in a high-growth or startup environment.
• Strong track record in validation, test strategy, and systems integration in a hardware/software power electronics environment.
• Demonstrated ability to develop frameworks for requirements decomposition, design acceptance criteria, and program execution.
• Exceptional cross-functional communication skills — comfortable working with both IC-level engineers and senior executives.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward informed action and the ability to lead new initiatives with limited resources.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 10%, including internationally.
