JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Design and develop creative and functional interior design concepts for various commercial, hospitality or mixed-use projects.
• Candidate must possess ability to conceptualise innovative ID concepts and has strong presentation skills.
• Present design concepts, mood boards and material palettes to aid in job procurement and discussion with clients.
• Oversee the selection of materials, finishes, furniture and fixtures.
• Attend meetings and conduct site visits to ensure quality control and smooth project progression.
• Work collaboratively with team members of the architectural and landscape team and clients to create and implement a project’s design.

REQUIREMENT:

• Degree in Interior Design or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in interior design, with a focus on commercial and hospitality projects.
• Proficient in software programs such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe etc.
• Knowledge of sustainable design practices and materials.
• Service oriented with strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Commitment and inspiring leadership qualities with strong general and project management skills.
• Able to work as part of a team independently and collaboratively.
• Able to work under pressure with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines.

WorkYou’ll Do

• Overseeing the design and development of complex architectural projects, ensuring adherence to client requirements, budgets, and timelines

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, and project managers, to deliver innovative and sustainable architectural solutions
• Adhering to design specifications, building codes and regulations to ensure design compliant
• Conducting site visits, managing client relationships, and presenting design proposals to stakeholders
• Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, regulations, and best practices in architecture
• Contributing to the firm's business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and participating in pitch presentations

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture or equivalent
• Minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience in the architecture industry, preferably in a senior or lead role
• Registered Architect with the Board of Architects Singapore (BOA), holding a valid practicing certificate is an advantage
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Singapore
• Exceptional technical skills, including proficiency in CAD software, 3D modelling, and other industry-standard design tools
• Proven project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple projects and lead cross-functional teams effectively
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality, innovative designs
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information to diverse stakeholders

What You'll Do

• Meeting and advising clients on procuring the best and most appropriate contracts for the work they are undertaking
• Preparation of tender documentation and construction drawings
• Assisting in administering contracts and project certifications
• Liaising with appropriate authorities (e.g. Planning enquiries and technical officers) to obtain statutory approval
• Coordinating and liaising with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, and project managers, to deliver innovative and sustainable architectural solutions
• Adhering to design specifications, building codes and regulations to ensure design compliant
• Follow up with detailed design process and co-ordinating design information
• Conduct site visits, managing client relationships, and presenting design proposals to stakeholders

Qualifications
