The Accounts Executive reports to the Finance Manager and is responsible for the below:
General Bookeeping & Reporting:
- Assist in month-end closing, audit preparation, and compliance reporting.
- Identify areas for process improvement and automation in financial reporting and analysis.
- Work on cash flow management and financial risk assessment.
Project Accounting:
- Track and analyze project costs, revenue, and margins.
- Work closely with project managers to ensure accurate budgeting and cost control.
- Monitor progress claims, variations, and project financial performance.
- Assist in the preparation of project financial reports and variance analysis.
Financial Modelling & Data Analytics:
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, cost efficiencies, and revenue opportunities.
- Automate and improve financial reporting using Excel, Power Bl, or other analytics tools.
- Provide insights to support management in decision-making and strategic planning.
To be a good fit, you would possess these qualities and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounts, Finance or related field.
- Min. 2-3 years of relevant working experience in related field, preferably with project accounting experience.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to propose alternative solutions.
- Detailed and meticulous
- High proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
