Job Description:

• Liaise with Director & Project Team to resolve any contractual disputes arising in the projects. Investigate and resolve or refer as appropriate disputes/complaints in accordance with contractual requirements in a timely manner
• Liaise with clients, sub-contractors, and suppliers on project requirements.
• Oversee overall planning and execution to ensure optimization of resources and manpower
• Initiate, co-ordinate and oversee the interactions with the various involved disciplines/personnel to support the project
• Provide support in administering the main contract.
• Responsible for full QS work including valuation, submission of variation works, budgeting, controlling of cash flow and cost, processing of claims, contract payments, and settlement of final accounts, working with procurement team on the administration of projects.
• Assist to prepare tender and contract documents including bills of quantities.
• Prepare and analyze costings for tenders.
• Provide advice on contractual claims and procurement strategy.
• Analyze outcomes and write detailed progress reports.
• Value completed work and make progress claims.
• Track of any variations for ongoing projects that may affect costs.
• Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.
• Prepare and submit catalogues and sample boards.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the HOD’s.

Job Requirement

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying / Building or equivalent from a recognized University.
• Minimum 5 years of related working experience in residential and industrial projects.
• Good working knowledge in Mechanical and Electrical.
• Good knowledge of Singapore health and safety rules and regulations.
• Ability to use software tools for costing and budgeting.
• Organizational skill with attention to detail, adaptable and flexible.
• Good communication and facilitation skills.
• Ability to work well in a team as well as independently and demonstrate initiative and commitment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Plan and manage multiple engineering projects from conceptual development to handover, within budget, deliver on time, safety alertness and the required quality.

· Able to prioritize tasks and assign manpower to ensure that the overall resources are used effectively and within project deadlines.

· Assist to prepare bid tender for new projects and ensure project compliance with company policy and guideline.

· Evaluate and authorize changes that significantly impact the scope budget or timeline of a project.

· Lead the most complex or critical engineering projects, monitor progress and performance against the project plan.

· Identify and resolve operational problems and minimize delays.

· Select, guide and develop a team of project member with operational responsibilities to ensure that the organization achieves it business objectives and complies with all relevant regulations and laws.

· Ensure that organization and government standards on safety are met and ensure customer safety & quality specifications are consistently met.

· Allocate capital and human resources to maximize productivity and supervise and implement project expense, other assets and resource within budget.

· Analyze and approve project investments that best meet the organization needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

· Recognized Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field of studies.

· Possess 8 to 13 years relevant experience in the local Electrical / ACMV Engineering industry

· Outgoing with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

· Ability to work independently and target oriented in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to interact effectively with project members and stakeholder at all levels.

Position Summary: The Assistant Accounts Manager will oversee the financial activities and reporting of subsidiaries and representative office in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region (Indonesia and Malaysia). This role ensures that all financial operations are in compliance with local regulations and corporate policies. The Assistant Accounts Manager will work closely with subsidiary’s external Accountant, Auditor and Tax Agent, providing support to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance.

Responsibilities: 

• Oversee the financial operations of APAC subsidiaries and representative office, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and international accounting standards.

• Supervise and provide guidance to subsidiary’s finance teams in Singapore on accounting practices, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.

• Ensure adherence to corporate policies and procedures, and local regulations in all financial activities.

• Coordinate with subsidiary’s external Accountant, Auditor and Tax Agent to ensure timely and accurate monthly and annual financial reports.

• Perform monthly and yearly consolidation for group reporting.

• Manage the preparation, audit and filing of APAC subsidiaries’ financial statements.

• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the APAC month-end close, including review of monthly journal entries and supporting schedules and analysis of monthly and yearly financial results.

• Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.

• Handle inter-company billings and transactions

• Handle full sets of accounts for local related party companies – an Investment Holding Company and a company providing Corporate ICT Solutions

• Manage Staff and Petty Cash Claims and Vendor Payment for Singapore HQ

• Other accounting duties or assignments

• Other ad-hoc duties or assignments.

Qualifications and Requirements: 

• Degree in Accountancy/ACCA/CPA/CA or equivalent

• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Experience with managing subsidiary accounts is highly desirable.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Peachtree, Microsoft Dynamic Business Central) and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.

• Fluency in English; proficiency in one or more APAC regional languages and group consolidation knowledge is a must.

• Ability to think critically and analyze data effectively.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• This position may require occasional travel within the APAC region.
