Job Description

Overview of Duties

• Works as part of the kitchen team. Engaged in cooking, baking, pastry cooking or butchering duties.
• This position involves food preparation and presentation with flair for breakfast, lunch and dinner for ala carte and buffet services.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment whilst ensuring a product of high quality and presentation standards.
• Demonstrate commitment to customer service for internal and external customers.

Reporting Line

• This position reports to the Executive Chef.

Main Responsibilities & Duties

• Prepare and present menu items showing variety and flair.
• Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage. Have stock control procedures implemented and maintained.
• Prepare and ensures availability of mis en place as required.
• Check that all cooked and pre-cooked foods are properly stored.
• Order necessary food according to proposed business demands.
• Consult with Executive Chef for guidance and authorisation of order.
• Liaise with front of house staff regarding the availability of menu items, additions to the menu and any relevant changes.
• Keeps all working areas clean and tidy. Ensure all equipment is maintained, serviced and cleaned.
• Be familiar with other areas in the Kitchen so when called upon, assistance can be provided.
• Assist and liaise with chef on duty as required.

Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of related experience in Hospitality/Hotel/F&B Culinary operations.
• Possess a valid WSQ Food Hygiene certificate would be an added advantage.

• Follow health and safety regulations and hygiene standard

Experience & Skills

• Possess a Professional Certificate/NITEC, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience in Hospitality/Hotel/F&B Culinary operations.
• Applicants must possess a valid WSQ Food Hygiene certificate.

Overview of Duties

• Providing friendly and efficient food and beverage service that meets the guests’ expectations.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure excellent and professional service at all times.
• Perform the tasks of order taking and maximize sales opportunities through knowledge of product. Ensure accuracy by repeating order(s) to the guests
• Ensure that dockets are written clearly and correctly so the kitchen can fulfill their duties effectively.
• Deliver orders promptly to the kitchen production area.
• Check ordered meals on collection from kitchen and deliver to guests promptly to maintain temperature and appearance; ensure items are announced.
• Keep tables and service areas clean and tidy as per procedure manual.
• Maintain hygienic food service techniques during service.
• Take responsibility for your designated section and station.
• Other duties as required and outlined by the Assistant Lounge Manager and (or) Supervisor.

Experience & Skills

• Possess Diploma in Tourism/Hospitality or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience preferably in Hospitality/Hotel/Lounge/F&B operations

Job Summary

You will lead bar operations at the Qantas Singapore Lounges, ensuring smooth service delivery, supervising team members, managing stock levels, and responding effectively to guest requests to uphold high service standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage bar operations to ensure efficient service delivery and compliance with standards
• Conduct briefings to communicate key information clearly to team members for smooth operations
• Supervise team members to ensure timely completion of tasks according to instructions and quality standards
• Monitor and check equipment and stock levels to prevent shortages that could affect operations and guest experience
• Respond flexibly and professionally to guest requests and operational situations to maintain service excellence
• Apply strong knowledge of beverage trends, fermentation, cocktails, alcohol, and wines to support bar operations

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience managing bar operations with minimal supervision
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and maintain positive customer interactions
• Proven ability to perform well under stressful and high-pressure situations
• High degree of professionalism in work conduct
• Positive track record in previous roles

Key Responsibility

• Clean and maintain cleanliness of the showers, washrooms, toilets
• Carry out programmed and regular cleaning duties as scheduled and allocated
• Ensure cleanliness of respective department is maintained to the highest standard
• Ensure adequate supplies of towels, amenities and consumables for guest use
• Liase with guests and to ensure fair use of shower rooms especially during peak times
• Maintain cleanliness of public and back of house areas
• Understand the correct usage and storage of cleaning agents in-line with health and safety regulations and manufacturer’s instructions

Skills & Experience

• A people person, with the ability to make warm connections with our guests.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience in Hospitality/Hotel/F&B operations in similar capacity.
