Responsibilities

Community and Volunteer Involvement

• Assess and meet the organisation’s needs through the recruitment, placement, training and retention of volunteers
• Collect and conduct data analysis of volunteer engagement targets and submit reports to key stakeholders and funding authorities
• Coordinate with relevant internal departments and external community partners in fulfilling community engagement projects
• Develop and manage delivery of internal as well as external communication plans to support programme objectives
• Develop, execute and manage volunteer driven programmes
• Engage and build partnerships with relevant stakeholders such as grassroots organisations, corporations, health and educational institutions
• Network and attend meetings relating to volunteer activities with related partners and agencies
• Organise programmes for orientation and induction/training of volunteers
• Plan and organise volunteer appreciation-related activities (e.g. appreciation party, get-together)
• Plan, develop and implement community engagement plans for seniors
• Recruitment of volunteers to provide assistance to members and coordinate community volunteer efforts
• Review and evaluate volunteer programme and activities

Administrative

• Keep and maintain stakeholders’ registry and statistics
• Oversee and develop corporate marketing materials e.g. annual report, website, social media
• Propose and monitor budget for different programmes and funds
• Provide clerical and administrative support
• Provide secretariat support to staff meetings

Work Location

4S Active Ageing Centre @ Eunos Crescent is a centre serves as the go-to point for seniors within Eunos Crescent and Eunos Road 2, providing a range of services including active ageing and befriending programmes to engage and improve seniors’ well-being.

4S Eldercare Centre @ Eunos Crescent is a day care centre that provides a suite of client-centric services including primary and preventive care, nursing care, rehabilitation service and personal care for frail individuals.

Requirements

• Degree in Social Work
• Willing to comply with the Standard Operating Procedure when discharging duties
• Willing to perform shift work in accordance with the Duty Roster
• 3 years of direct practice, 1 year of supervisory role

Advanced clinical, supervisory, and administrative responsibilities include:

• Provide leadership, supervision to a team of social workers, caseworkers or other support staff.
• Oversee complex cases, ensuring that appropriate interventions and services are provided, and conduct assessments and develop comprehensive care plans.
• Collaborate with other professionals, agencies, and community organizations to enhance the delivery of social services.
• Work to influence policies and practices that impact the well-being of the residents and contribute to the development of policies and procedures within the organisation.

• Handle administrative tasks related to programme management, such as budgeting, reporting, and compliance with regulations.

The WelfareHome provides care for destitute persons, and the work location will be atAdmiralty Street.

Acacia Home isa seven-storey facility with a capacity of 250 beds, catering to male destitutepersons. The workplace is located at Admiralty Street.

Job Summary

You will support HR operations across multiple service centres by managing HR administration, maintaining accurate records, updating HR systems, and coordinating recruitment activities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate employee records, attendance, and leave data to ensure compliance and operational efficiency
• Prepare HR documents such as contracts and renewal letters to support workforce management
• Update and maintain HRMS data to ensure current and reliable HR information
• Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings and interview scheduling, to facilitate timely hiring
• Maintain training records and track compliance to support employee development and regulatory adherence
• Assist in compiling HR reports and data to inform decision-making and monitor HR metrics
• Support vendor coordination and general HR administrative tasks to ensure smooth HR operations

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma in HR, Business Administration, or equivalent qualification
• 2–4 years of experience in HR administration demonstrating meticulousness and organisational skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism

Preferred Competencies and Qualifications

• Familiarity with HR systems (e.g. JustLogin or similar HRMS)
• Experience in handling HR administrative processes in a multi-site or service environment
• Basic understanding of Singapore employment practices (leave, contracts, documentation)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling records
• Good coordination and communication skills
• Able to handle confidential information with discretion
• Proactive and able to follow through tasks independently

• Experience in the social service, healthcare, or community care sector will be an advantage
