Role Overview
The Air Gateway Director is responsible for leading and optimizing all air freight gateway operations across Southeast Asia. This role will oversee gateway performance, carrier relationships, and cross-border coordination to support the company’s regional and global logistics objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily air import, export, and transshipment operations across regional gateways
- Optimize network routing, capacity planning, and gateway performance
- Manage airline and ground handler relationships, including capacity and service levels
- Ensure compliance with air freight regulations, customs, and security standards
- Own operational performance, costs, and KPIs; drive continuous improvement
- Partner with commercial and country teams to support customer needs
- Lead and develop regional operations teams
Requirements:
> 10+ years in air freight or logistics, with regional leadership experience
>Strong knowledge of Southeast Asia air operations and regulations
>Proven ability to manage multi-country operations and teams
>Strong leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
