We are looking for a Distribution Manager ( a maternity cover role with 9 months' contract) to manage our Distribution centre operations and ensuring accurate customer order fulfilment from our Distribution centres. Oversee Distribution Centre Operations:

• Ensuring KPIs (warehouse occupancy, inbound/outbound efficiencies, OTIF, inventory accuracies) are on track. 
• Review short term capacity requirements for DC and optimize inbound-outbound logistics to manage any imbalance situation. 
• Track and manage damaged, quality stocks, scrap and support claims process. 
• Inventory control and management through ensuring proper cycle count and stock take processes by the 3PL. 
• Represent Distribution in BU weekly and monthly operation cadence, review KPIs performance and address any escalations. 
• Lead the LEGO Group/3PL weekly operational meetings, monthly and quarterly Business reviews to ensure service levels are met. 
• Ensure reliable operations and a sound BCP (business continuity process) is activated in situations when needed. 

Procurement of 3PL service and cost management 

• Support the analysis of the distribution centre’s storage, throughput and obtain customer requirements to support the procurement process for selecting and contracting 3PL services. 
• Ensure cost effective operations and distribution spend within budget. 

Business unit: 

• Partner with Business Unit stakeholders to ensure Distribution aligns with business requirements and supports daily operations that facilitate sales and customer service. 

Customer Service: 

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining accurate order processing at the DC, timely deliveries, and effective communication with BU and customers. 
• Collaborate with Customer-Logistics team to manage any value-added services required to serve our customers. 

Compliance:  

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies. 

Reporting and monitoring:  

• Ensure monthly, weekly and daily reports on distribution centre performance are in place, including key metrics are accurately captured. 

Continuous Improvement:  

• Partner with Procurement team and 3PL to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in enhancing efficiencies, reduce costs and improve distribution performance.

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

• Prepare documents such as AWB, export/import permits, and declarations

• Communicate with customers and vendors on shipment status
• Manage shipment bookings and space arrangements
• Ensure compliance with DG (Dangerous Goods) and airfreight regulations
  

Requirements:

• Minimum ITE/Diploma in related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in airfreight operations (import/export)
• Knowledge of airfreight documentation and customs procedures

About The Role

As the Logistics Manager in ALPS, you will be based in one of the 27 Public Healthcare Institutions (PHI) in Singapore, you will be responsible for the logistics support and inventory control within the PHI. Leading a team, you will provide proactive planning and coordination of logistics operations while ensuring inventory accountability and system accuracy. You will also communicate closely with hospital users to support in the hospital’s daily operations for patients’ care.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse staff and daily activities.
• Managing, evaluating and reporting on warehouse productivity.
• Tracking and coordinating the receiving, storage, timely delivery of goods and materials.
• Checking of orders, inventory and deliveries for accuracy.
• Maintaining records and provide timely update.
• Perform daily inspection of the warehouse grounds.

This role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and conducting routine maintenance to enhance system efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Job Description:

· Collect the spare parts from the warehouse store based on the daily job indicated on the tablet.

· Troubleshoot and resolve issues on malfunctioned HVAC systems.

· Wash and clean all dismantled parts to improve efficiency and air quality.

· Refill refrigerants by replenishing and fixing leaks as needed.

· Communicate with clients with regards to problems in equipment and post-jobs reports.

· Ensure safe-keeping of hand tools and maintain good housekeeping.

· Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary (e.g. googles, earplugs, respirators, safety harnesses, safety shoes, helmets, sunscreen).

· Ensure all works are carried out safely in accordance with safety procedures and practicing of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act.

· Provide technical advice and assistance on all maintenance functions.

· Prepare service reports after every completed job for customer's endorsement.

· Handle any ad-hoc projects and duties assigned by reporting manager and/or management.

2. Issue and receipts of parts at Parts Counter;

3. Assist in providing quotation to our dealers as and when requires.

4. Ensure all incoming stock items are checked for correct quantity, label and properly

placed at the designated location. Any damaged or discrepancy has to report to Parts

Supervisor by submitting discrepancy report for further action;

5. Ensure the quality in the bin location tally with the system at all times. Any discrepancy

has to be reported to Parts Supervisor;
