The role and responsibility of a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) is to provide Airbus Helicopters (AH) worldwide customers with Technical Assistance for their helicopter fleets.

The LAME are mechanical: B1.3 and avionic: B2 specialists type rated on Airbus Helicopters products preferably on H225.

The LAME holds an European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part 66 license in order to provide technical support as follows:

• Assist drivers in troubleshooting vehicle issues such as breakdowns, tire punctures, battery problems, or mechanical faults.

• Coordinate roadside assistance, towing services, and workshop repairs when necessary.

• Track vehicle mileage and EV charging to support maintenance planning and cost control.

• Ensure vehicles comply with regulatory requirements and company safety standards such as speed limiter etc.

• Maintain inventory of vehicle-related items such as keys, cashcards, OBU, parking devices, and emergency equipment.

Pre-Requisites / Requirements

Valid Class 3 driving license.
Some knowledge of vehicle maintenance and common mechanical issues.
Familiarity with commercial EV vehicles such as vans and lorries is an advantage.
Good problem-solving skills and ability to respond quickly to operational issues such as breakdowns.
Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate vehicle records.
Good communication skills to liaise with drivers, workshops, and operations staff.
Basic computer skills for maintaining fleet records and documentation.

• Define and manage vehicle configurations across multiple product variants

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical and software engineering

• Perform simulations and engineering analyses (e.g., FEA, CFD) to validate and enhance designs

• Participate in design reviews and provide technical insights to stakeholders

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of design processes, testing results, and compliance with contractual and regulatory standards

Job Description

• Leads, or contributes to, the design and execution of end-to-end supply chain solutions and strategy including planning, material information and financial flows, manufacturing and logistics.

• Leads or participates in multi-function supply chain projects with an emphasis on project planning, supply chain modeling/analysis and optimization of cost, service and inventory.

• Participates in the design, development and implementation of end-to-end supply chain designs, strategies, models, processes, business intelligence and tools to support business growth.

• Identifies gaps and recommends opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain.

• Works in conjunction with Information Technology partners to ensure the system framework addresses business requirements.

• Implements, tests, troubleshoots and improves business systems to increase manufacturing quality, efficiency and volume.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.

• PMP certification preferred, with proven experience managing large-scale, enterprise-level projects.

• Typically, at least 8+ years relevant experience for entry to this level.
