Job Description
We are seeking highly qualified and experienced IB Mathematics and Science Instructors to join our academic team in Singapore. The ideal candidates will have a strong academic background and proven experience teaching International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes, delivering rigorous and engaging lessons that support students in achieving top academic outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality instruction for IB Mathematics, Physics, and/or Chemistry (MYP / DP levels)
- Prepare students for IB internal assessments (IA), extended essays (EE), and final examinations
- Design and adapt lesson plans aligned with IB curriculum standards and assessment criteria
- Provide targeted academic support, including exam strategies and concept mastery
- Monitor student progress and deliver detailed, data-driven feedback
- Conduct small group classes and one-on-one sessions
- Contribute to curriculum development and academic excellence initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in IB programmes or equivalent international curricula
- Strong familiarity with IB syllabus, assessment criteria, and grading standards
- Proven track record of helping students achieve strong academic results
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
- Strong analytical, communication, and classroom management skills
- Ability to teach high-achieving students in a rigorous academic environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching IB Diploma Programme (DP) students
- Familiarity with Higher Level (HL) subjects
- Experience guiding students in Internal Assessments (IA) and Extended Essays (EE)
- Teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Experience in international schools or premium academic institutions
