The opportunity
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNowDevelopment Manager to lead the design, development, and delivery of ServiceNowsolutions for clients across various industries. The ideal candidate willpossess strong ServiceNow technical expertise, proven people leadershipcapabilities, and a track record of delivering successful digitaltransformation initiatives within a consulting or professional servicesenvironment.
Your key responsibilities
· Lead end-to-end delivery ofServiceNow implementations, enhancements, and transformation programs.
· Partner with clients tounderstand business challenges and translate requirements into scalableServiceNow solutions.
· Manage multiple clientengagements concurrently, ensuring delivery quality, timeline adherence, andbudget management.
· Facilitate workshops,solution design sessions, and stakeholder presentations.
· Serve as a trusted advisorto client stakeholders, providing recommendations aligned to industry bestpractices.
· Provide architecture andsolution oversight across ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD,CSM, SPM, and IntegrationHub.
· Research, design, anddevelop computer and network software or specialised utility programs usingServiceNow
· Analyse user needs anddevelop software solutions using servicenow, applying principles and techniquesof computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
· Update software, enhancesexisting software capabilities, and develops and direct software testing andvalidation procedures.
· Work with computer hardwareengineers to integrate hardware and software systems and develop specificationsand performance requirements.
· Establish developmentstandards, governance frameworks, and quality assurance processes.
· Review technical designs,customizations, integrations, and platform configurations.
· Drive platform optimization,scalability, security, and maintainability.
· Lead, mentor, and develop ateam of ServiceNow developers and technical consultants.
· Conduct performance reviews,coaching, career development planning, and resource allocation.
· Foster a culture ofcollaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
· Support pre-sales activitiesincluding solutioning, proposal development, effort estimation, and clientpresentations.
· Contribute to practicegrowth initiatives, accelerators, reusable assets, and capability development.
· Identify opportunities forupselling and cross-selling ServiceNow services within existing clientaccounts.
To qualify for the role, you must have:
· Bachelor’s degree incomputer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.
· 8+ years of experience inServiceNow development and implementation.
· 3+ years of experienceleading development teams or managing technical consultants.
· Proven experience deliveringprojects within a consulting, information technology or professional servicesenvironment.
· Experience managingclient-facing engagements and executive stakeholders.
· Strong expertise acrossServiceNow platform capabilities and architecture.
· Hands-on experience withJavaScript, REST APIs, integrations, Flow Designer, and Service Portal.
· Experience with Agiledelivery methodologies.
· Understanding of cloudtechnologies and enterprise architecture principles.
· Strong consulting mindsetwith excellent stakeholder management skills.
· Ability to balance hands-ontechnical leadership with people management responsibilities.
· Experience managinggeographically distributed teams.
· Excellent communication,presentation, and client-facing skills.
