Based inSingapore, the QA Engineer (Intern) is responsible for ensuring the web &mobile applications are robust, conform to specifications, void of bugs, and usableto the end users.

What will you do

• Work closely with the software engineering team to ensure high quality across web and mobile applications.
• Develop, document, and execute comprehensive manual and automated test cases based on project requirements.
• Identify, record, and track bugs using industry-standard tools.
• Participate in design sessions and technical discussions to advocate for quality early in the development cycle.
• Assist in maintaining andextending our automation test suites (Selenium,Playwright, or similar).

What do we expect

• Currently pursuing adegree / diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Exposure to or interest in software testing methodologies and bug-tracking workflows.
• Basic proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Java, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML/CSS) and a curiosity about mobile app testing.
• A sharp eye for detail and a logical approach to problem-solving.
• Self-motivated, eagerto learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary

Develop and execute comprehensive test cases to validate software functionality and quality. Perform manual, functional, regression, and exploratory testing to identify defects and ensure product reliability. Report and document technical issues clearly to support timely resolution. Prepare and maintain detailed testing documentation to support quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed test cases to validate software features and performance
• Perform manual testing to verify software functionality against requirements
• Conduct functional testing to assess specific features and workflows
• Execute regression testing to ensure new changes do not impact existing functionality
• Carry out exploratory testing to identify unexpected issues and improve product robustness
• Report and document technical issues with clear descriptions to facilitate debugging and resolution
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive testing documentation to support quality assurance and audit requirements
• Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure software meets quality standards

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Currently pursuing or graduated with a degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Previous experience in Quality Assurance or software testing roles is advantageous
• Familiarity with Jira or similar issue tracking tools is a plus
• Prior hands-on testing experience is beneficial
