WarehouseSupervisor – Job Description (Manufacturing)

Job Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor overseesdaily warehouse operations in a manufacturing environment, ensuring efficientstorage, inventory control, and timely distribution of raw materials andfinished goods. The role focuses on maintaining accuracy, safety, andcoordination with production teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. WarehouseOperations Management

• Supervise day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, storing, and issuing materials
• Ensure proper handling of raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse conditions

2. Inventory Control

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records
• Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and audits
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in stock levels
• Ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO / FEFO practices)

3. Coordination withProduction

• Ensure timely supply of materials to production lines
• Coordinate with procurement and production teams to avoid delays
• Monitor material consumption and report shortages

4. Team Supervision

• Lead and supervise warehouse staff (storekeepers, pickers, forklift operators)
• Assign daily tasks and monitor performance
• Provide training on warehouse procedures and safety practices

5. Safety &Compliance

• Enforce health & safety regulations in the warehouse
• Ensure proper use of PPE and equipment
• Maintain compliance with company policies and legal requirements

6. Documentation& Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of:
• Goods received and dispatched
• Inventory movements
• Damaged or rejected materials
• Prepare regular reports for management

7. WarehouseEfficiency

• Optimize storage space and improve workflow
• Implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce handling time

Responsibilities

- Overseeing and ensuring smooth dispatch of parcels on time

- Supervise, train and oversee delivery drivers on collection of parcels

- Supervise, train and manage warehouse sorters

- Plan and manage warehouse space

- Ensure and implement SOPs required

Requirements

- Diploma in Supply Chain Management / Logistics or any related field

- 2 years relevant experience

- Strong communication skills

- Strong organizational skills

- High problem solving skills that will be required when faced with day to day obstacles during planning

- Able to adapt to new applications/technologies required to perform daily task

Job Summary

You will ensure accurate and timely processing of customer orders while supporting warehouse operations including picking, packing, loading, unloading, and inventory management to maintain product quality and workplace order.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders promptly and accurately to meet delivery schedules
• Pick and pack orders efficiently to prepare for shipment
• Load and unload goods safely to support warehouse logistics
• Manage inventory by maintaining product quality and performing regular housekeeping
• Support general warehouse operations to ensure smooth workflow
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned to assist team needs

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Possess a forklift license will be an advantage but not mandatory
