We are seeking a senior Digital Procurement Solution Consultant to take full ownership of our clients Digital Procurement Application ecosystems. This role offers a dynamic mix of driving complex platform Enhancements, leading Greenfield Implementations, Rollouts, and strategically managing long-term Application Managed Services (AMS).

Core Responsibilities

Application Lifecycle Management: Lead the functional architecture, ongoing support, and continuous enhancement of the SAP Ariba platform for premier clients across Singapore and the region.
Module Ownership & Customization: Independently drive the configuration, customization, and optimization of Core Upstream modules (Sourcing, Contracts, SLP, SPM, Risk) and Downstream applications (Buying & Invoicing, Guided Buying, Commerce Automation).
Ecosystem Integration: Architect and maintain robust connectivity across the Ariba Business Network, CIG (Cloud Integration Gateway), and SAP BTP with core ERP systems (SAP ECC / S/4HANA) and non-SAP environments.
AMS & Optimization: Oversee application support operations, proactively tracking and resolving integration failures, ensuring platform stability, and identifying technical areas for process optimization.
Technical Stakeholder Leadership: Serve as the primary application expert and liaison for client stakeholders, leading functional workshops and aligning business requirements with platform capabilities.

What We Are Looking For

Experience: Min 7- 10 years of proven functional consulting and application management experience specifically within SAP Ariba implementation and enhancement environments.
Technical Depth: Deep, hands-on mastery of system configuration, requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, and data cutover.
Modern Tech Exposure: Familiarity with modern additions like Ariba Joule (AI), WalkMe, or adjacent platforms (e.g., Coupa, Ivalua, Fieldglass) is a strong advantage.
Education & Certifications: A degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. SAP Ariba certifications, PMP, or PRINCE2 are highly desirable.
Team Collaboration: Exceptional client-facing skills with experience coordinating with global procurement teams, process leaders, and offshore delivery teams.

Working closely with technical and business teams, the role ensures that software usage aligns with operational needs, cost efficiency, and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Process Development and Governance

Develop, document, and implement software asset management policies and procedures.
Establish consistent workflows covering software requests, approvals, procurement, deployment, and retirement.
Support adherence to organizational standards for procurement, risk management, and information security.
Review and enhance processes regularly to improve efficiency and reduce delays.

2. Budget Management and Cost Optimization

Monitor and manage software-related expenditure, including tracking against approved budgets and providing regular reports.
Engage with business units to understand current and future software requirements.
Identify opportunities to optimize license usage, including reallocating unused licenses where appropriate.
Support cost allocation practices to improve transparency across departments.

3. Vendor and Contract Management

Support commercial discussions with software vendors for renewals and new purchases.
Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and evaluate suitable solutions.
Identify opportunities to streamline tools and reduce duplication across the organisation.

4.Procurement and Stakeholder Communication

Prepare business justifications for software investments and renewals.
Coordinate procurement processes and ensure relevant approvals are obtained.
Provide guidance to stakeholders on licensing models, costs, and available options.
Prepare summary reports to support decision-making by management.

5. License Management and Compliance

Maintain accurate records of software assets, including contracts and entitlements.
Coordinate license allocation and provisioning through relevant systems.
Support compliance with licensing agreements and organizational policies through regular reviews.

Qualifications and Experience

At least 5 years of relevant experience in Software Asset Management, IT procurement, or IT operations (or comparable experience).
Experience in developing or improving operational processes.
Familiarity with software licensing models, including SaaS environments.
Ability to analyse budgets and present financial or operational information clearly to stakeholders.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Relevant certifications (e.g. Software Asset Management, IT service management, or related fields).
Experience using data analysis
tools (e.g., spreadsheets or reporting tools) for tracking and reporting.
Familiarity with managing software licenses through administrative platforms.
