We are seeking a senior Digital Procurement Solution Consultant to take full ownership of our clients Digital Procurement Application ecosystems. This role offers a dynamic mix of driving complex platform Enhancements, leading Greenfield Implementations, Rollouts, and strategically managing long-term Application Managed Services (AMS).

Core Responsibilities

• Application Lifecycle Management: Lead the functional architecture, ongoing support, and continuous enhancement of the SAP Ariba platform for premier clients across Singapore and the region.

• Module Ownership & Customization: Independently drive the configuration, customization, and optimization of Core Upstream modules (Sourcing, Contracts, SLP, SPM, Risk) and Downstream applications (Buying & Invoicing, Guided Buying, Commerce Automation).

• Ecosystem Integration: Architect and maintain robust connectivity across the Ariba Business Network, CIG (Cloud Integration Gateway), and SAP BTP with core ERP systems (SAP ECC / S/4HANA) and non-SAP environments.

• AMS & Optimization: Oversee application support operations, proactively tracking and resolving integration failures, ensuring platform stability, and identifying technical areas for process optimization.

• Technical Stakeholder Leadership: Serve as the primary application expert and liaison for client stakeholders, leading functional workshops and aligning business requirements with platform capabilities.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: Min 7- 10 years of proven functional consulting and application management experience specifically within SAP Ariba implementation and enhancement environments.

• Technical Depth: Deep, hands-on mastery of system configuration, requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, and data cutover.

• Modern Tech Exposure: Familiarity with modern additions like Ariba Joule (AI), WalkMe, or adjacent platforms (e.g., Coupa, Ivalua, Fieldglass) is a strong advantage.

• Education & Certifications: A degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. SAP Ariba certifications, PMP, or PRINCE2 are highly desirable.

• Team Collaboration: Exceptional client-facing skills with experience coordinating with global procurement teams, process leaders, and offshore delivery teams.

Procurement & Sourcing

• Identify, evaluate, and select vendors for software, IoT, networking, and digital solutions.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and service-level agreements (SLAs) to optimize cost and value.
• Manage end-to-end procurement lifecycle, including RFQs, RFPs, and contract management.
• Conduct sourcing activities, obtain competitive quotes, and evaluate supplier proposals.
• Issue Purchase Orders (POs) in accordance with internal policies and approval matrices.
• Support contract and price negotiations to achieve cost savings and value improvements.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, pricing, lead times, and supplier data within systems.
  
  Supplier Management
  
• Interact with approved suppliers to track order status, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely delivery.
• Liaise with vendors regarding product specifications, delivery schedules, and order fulfilment issues.
• Escalate supplier performance issues and support vendor evaluation processes.
  
  Technical Assessment
• Collaborate with IT teams to understand technical requirements and ensure compatibility of purchased products.
• Evaluate vendor offerings for technical compliance, scalability, and security standards.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in IoT, networking, and digital platforms.
  
  Internal Collaboration
  
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and production teams to understand material requirements.
• Work closely with logistics, finance, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless PO–GR–Invoice flow.
• Ensure compliance with procurement procedures, audit requirements, and governance standards.
  
  Compliance & Risk Management
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, cost management guidelines, and compliance frameworks.
• Support audits by providing documentation, system records, and traceability.
• Identify potential risks in supply availability, pricing, or vendor reliability, and escalate when necessary.
  
  Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or related fields
• 3–5 years of experience in IT procurement or IT asset management.
• Strong knowledge of: Software licensing models (SaaS, perpetual,subscription). IoT devices and protocols., Networking hardware and configurations,Digital platforms and cloud services.
• Familiarity with IT security standards and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management
• Resourceful with high level of honesty and integrity.
• Has initiative and hold information in the strictest confidence.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP (MM module preferred) and/or Oracle procurement modules
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
