Job Description

• Load and unload incoming and outgoing delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
• Operate forklifts and scissor lifts to move, stack, and retrieve goods (certification required)
• Carry, lift, and move cartons and household goods manually when required
• Secure goods to pallets and prepare items for storage or transportation
• Transport inventory between storage locations and designated delivery or staging areas
• Store goods in assigned warehouse locations according to procedures
• Retrieve stored items accurately based on delivery or client requirements
• Ensure all tools set condition before sending out or incoming from project site
• Good maintaining of storage area with labelling and recording
• Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures at all times
• Report damaged goods, safety hazards, or equipment issues promptly

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum secondary school education or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates from ITE/Higher Nitec/diploma are welcome to apply.
•  2-3 years of warehouse or logistics experience preferred. 
•  Strong leadership and team management skills.
•  Computer literate.
•  Able to read, understand, and follow basic written and verbal instructions (English required)  
• Hardworking, independent, initiative and able to multitask.

Optional / Advantageous Skills:

·        ValidForklift License.

·        Knowledgeon electrical repair worker will be advantages

Job Summary

A Warehouse Assistant Manager supports the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily supply chain operations, including receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse staff to ensure efficient daily supply chain operations and maintain team productivity
• Monitor and enforce workplace safety standards to ensure compliance and a safe working environment
• Manage inventory control by identifying and resolving stock discrepancies to maintain accurate stock levels
• Oversee receiving and order fulfillment processes to meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and maximize operational efficiency

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead and manage the overall procurement function, aligning procurement strategy and sourcing plans with project requirements and company objectives
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the procurement department, including sourcing, supplier evaluation and selection, purchase order management, materials and equipment planning, budgeting and cost control
• Develop, implement and enforce procurement policies, procedures and standards to ensure consistency, transparency and compliance
• Monitor procurement progress and performance against project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment to site
• Take prompt action to address supply delays, material shortages, price fluctuations or emergencies that may impact site progress
• Liaise with project teams, commercial/QS, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and relevant authorities to resolve procurement and supply issues
• Manage supplier relationships, conduct supplier performance evaluations and maintain an approved vendor list
• Lead, guide and develop the procurement team to build a capable and high-performing department

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering Management or its equivalent from recognised universities.
• Minimum 15 years' procurement & commercial experience, with relevant managerial/leadership experience, preferably in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, market trends and supplier networks
• Familiar with procurement systems/ERP and relevant procurement compliance requirements
• Able to communicate and write fluently in both English and Chinese to prepare procurement analysis and supervision reports for Beijing HQ
