• Overseeing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods to ensure efficiency and accuracy in inventory management.
• Implementing and maintaining warehouse management systems (WMS) to optimize storage solutions and streamline operations.
• Coordinating with procurement and supply chain teams to schedule deliveries and manage supply levels, ensuring stock availability and minimizing overstock.
• Enforcing safety and health regulations within the warehouse environment, conducting regular safety audits and training sessions for staff.
• Managing warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation, to ensure a productive and motivated team.
• Preparing and analyzing reports on warehouse operations, inventory levels, and order fulfillment rates to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Liaising with transport team and internal departments to resolve any shipping or receiving issues, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily warehouse operations – oversee inbound receiving, inter warehouse transfer (IWT), reverse logistics, cycle count and export shipment.

• Supervise and lead warehouse staff – manage, coach, and monitor performance of warehouse team members.

• Coordinate inventory control – conduct and support regular inventory checks, cycle counts and reconcile physical stock with system records.

• Maintain warehouse safety compliance – ensure all safety rules, health standards, and regulatory requirements are followed within the warehouse.

• Implement and monitor SOPs – enforce standard operation procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse activities and help update procedures for better efficiency.

• Manage import shipments – liaise with local forwarders to arrange shipment truck in and out. To check accuracy of import receiving and putaway.

• Assist with system and data management – update warehouse system, handle stock IWT transactions and database entries.

• Manage stock discrepancies – investigate stock variances, oversee adjustments, and implement corrective actions for inventory errors.

• Support continuous improvement – identify and suggest workflow improvements, cost-saving ideas, and efficiency initiatives.

• Handle ad-hoc duties – carry out additional tasks assigned by the warehouse manager or senior management as required.
