Objective:

Support the Project Team in ensuring smooth execution of merchandising and sourcing projects from quotation to delivery, while gaining hands-on experience in project coordination and supplier management.

Key Responsibilities

1.Project Support & Documentation

• Assist in sourcing ideas and product references for client proposals.
• Support price checks and costing preparation for simple or repeated items.
• Review samples and artworks for alignment with project specifications and timelines.
• Help arrange local/DHL sample shipments.

2. System Updates & Coordination

• Update Zoho CRM for enquiries, samples, and order status
• Support in tracking deadlines and deliverables, highlighting any risks or delays.
• Coordinate with internal teams (design, sales, logistics) to follow up on open tasks

3.Supplier & Operations Support

• Help verify and compare supplier quotations (price/specs/approval status).
• Assist in identifying new suppliers
• Help compile supplier performance feedback and quality issues for internal review.

Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills.
• Able to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Passionate about merchandising, sourcing, or supply chain processes (preferred).

Job Summary

The Procurement Intern will assist the procurement team in vendor management, data comparison, and supply chain analysis. This role offers hands-on experience in procurement processes and supply chain operations, supporting efficient business administration and inventory management.

Responsibilities

Business Administration:

• Compare and analyze data extracted from internal systems to support procurement decision-making
• Track and maintain vendor records to assist vendor management activities
• Perform business administrative tasks to support procurement operations as needed

Supply Chain Management:

• Assist in projecting sales using internal data to support accurate forecasting
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with relevant teams to support inventory management
• Coordinate supply chain logistics to ensure timely delivery and optimize cost efficiency

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Currently pursuing a diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related fields
• Basic understanding of procurement and supply chain concepts
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong analytical and organizational skills demonstrated through data analysis and task coordination
• Effective communication and teamwork skills applied in collaborative work environments
