About the Role

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Storekeeper to support daily warehouse operations within a heavy vehicle and industrial workshop environment. You will play a key role in managing spare parts, tools, and materials to ensure smooth workshop operations and timely support for mechanics.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming spare parts, materials, and tools.
• Issue spare parts to mechanics based on job orders or requisitions.
• Maintain accurate stock records using manual logs or inventory systems.
• Monitor inventory levels and raise purchase requisitions when stock is low.
• Ensure proper storage, labelling, and organization of parts and materials.
• Conduct regular stock counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain records for warranties, returns, and defective parts.
• Coordinate with procurement and workshop teams to ensure smooth stock-in and stock-out processes.
• Ensure proper housekeeping, safety compliance, and adherence to workshop procedures.
• Manage and control special tools and high-value inventory items.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience as a storekeeper, preferably in heavy vehicle, automotive, or industrial workshop environment.
• Knowledge of heavy vehicle spare parts (e.g. trucks, trailers, construction equipment, forklifts)will be an advantage.
• Basic computer skills(e.g. Excel, inventory systems, ERP).
• Physically fit and able to handle spare parts and materials.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to maintain accurate records.
• Familiar with warehouse or inventory management systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of safety practices in industrial/workshop environments.
