We are hiring a full time Lecturer for a 1 year contract role with a private education institution in Central Singapore.

This role is primarily focused on media communication, journalism and film production teaching at diploma and certificate level. Graphic and media design exposure is useful, but this is not a pure graphic design lecturer role.

The successful candidate should be comfortable teaching institution planned modules, supporting at least 800 teaching hours per year, and working with possible evening or weekend classes depending on academic scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

About the Role

The Printing & Mailing Production Operator is responsible for carrying out daily production tasks, including digital printing, envelope inserting, material handling, and quality control, in order to ensure the smooth operation of the production line and the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.

This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented team player with the flexibility to support production needs and adapt to dynamic operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Quality

• Execute daily production orders while respecting priorities, deadlines, and quality standards.
• Operate production equipment (printers, inserters, pallet jack – training provided).
• Conduct regular quality checks and report any defects, discrepancies, or damaged goods to the Manager.
• Ensure all machines in the assigned production line are operational and follow established control procedures.
• Participate in the management of stock, waste, and rejects (in case of production error or quality issues), and notify the Quality Department when needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be part of the Transmission Media Delivery team in provisioning links connectivity to deliver audio video feeds from event sites to designated locations.

The Operations Engineer shall support the installation of delivery links to send the audio video feeds from the event sites to designated locations by deploying suitable technologies. He is to ensure the feed received at the designated location is of broadcast quality and to monitor throughout the events. He will also need to maintain all the delivery equipment well to ensure operational readiness as well as keeping all related documentation properly updated and maintained.

Key Responsibilities & Challenges:

• Assist in managing projects related to Media Delivery links
• Establish various types of Media Delivery technologies include cellular bonding technology, optical fiber link, microwave link, IP streaming, Mesh Radio link and etc for events linkage
• Set up equipment at outdoor venues and ensure all power supplies requirements are adequate and appropriate for Live operations, that comply with safety regulations.
• Liaise with the agencies and building owners for the approval of use of the premises.
• Able to work on weekends, public holidays and after office hours depending on the job requirements
• Perform standby duty for VIP events (e.g. breaking news, emergency events, BCP exercise and etc.)
• Perform standby duty and able to work on irregular hours based on OB events requirement
• Perform regular equipment maintenance and housekeeping
• Adhere to workplace safety and health norms while performing duties

• Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or Information Technology
• Candidate without the academic qualifications but with at least 3 years of relevant working experience are welcome to apply
• Knowledge in digital transmission, such as COFDM, MIMO technology
• Knowledge in IT computer networking
• Knowledge in Linux and/or Windows OS
• Basic cyber security knowledge
• Basic RF knowledge will be an advantage
• A team player who is able to work independently
• Prepare to perform irregular hours duties
• Good interpersonal and communication skills

Good-to-have qualifications

• Certified to work at height
• Possess a valid Class 3 driving license

• Design and improve 3Dmodels using CAD software
• Prepare files for 3Dprinting, including setup and material choice
• Operate and maintain3D printers, and fix issues when needed
• Perform post-processing such as cleaning, finishing, assembling, and checking quality
• Test printed parts and suggest improvements
• Work with teams to improve product design and production
• Manage project tasks, timelines, and coordination
• Keep records of designs, materials, and machine settings
• Follow safety and quality standards

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Industrial Design, or related field
• Experience with 3D printing technologies such as FDM, SLA, SLS, or similar
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360, or equivalent
• Knowledge of materials used in additive manufacturing
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing 3D printing machines or related equipment
