About the Role

We are seeking a creative, proactive, and hands-on Social Media & Content Marketing Executive to build and grow our company's digital presence across multiple social media platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, creating, publishing, and managing engaging content that generates brand awareness, enquiries, and leads for our waterproofing and building maintenance services.

This role requires someone who is comfortable both behind the camera and in the field, creating authentic content from actual project sites and transforming it into compelling social media campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

• Manage and grow all company social media accounts, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
• Develop and execute a monthly social media content calendar aligned with business goals.
• Schedule and publish content using social media management tools.
• Monitor platform performance and provide monthly analytics and recommendations.

Content Creation & Video Production

• Plan, conceptualise, and create engaging content for social media platforms.
• Visit project sites to capture photos and videos of waterproofing works, repairs, inspections, and completed projects.
• Film, edit, and produce short-form and long-form video content, including:Before-and-after transformationsProject showcasesEducational waterproofing tipsCustomer testimonialsBehind-the-scenes contentStaff and company profile videos
• Design social media graphics, visuals, and promotional materials.

Community Management & Lead Handling

• Monitor and respond promptly to comments, messages, enquiries, and customer feedback across all social media channels.
• Qualify and route leads to the sales or operations team.
• Maintain professional and positive engagement with online audiences.
• Track enquiries generated from social media campaigns.

Digital Marketing & Campaign Management

• Assist in planning and executing paid social media advertising campaigns.
• Optimise content and campaigns to improve reach, engagement, and lead generation.
• Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, and competitor activities.
• Recommend new content ideas and marketing initiatives to improve brand visibility.

Requirements

Essential Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in social media marketing, content creation, or digital marketing.
• Proven experience managing multiple social media platforms.
• Experience using Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, or similar social media management tools.
• Strong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or equivalent.
• Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other graphic design tools.
• Ability to shoot high-quality content using smartphones and/or cameras.
• Basic photography, videography, and content storytelling skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience running Meta Ads and social media advertising campaigns.
• Experience in construction, renovation, engineering, property maintenance, or related industries is an advantage.
• Understanding of SEO and content marketing principles is a plus.
• Possession of a valid driving licence is an advantage for site visits.

About the Role

Techzu is looking for a confident and creative Social Media Executive who can plan, create, and deliver engaging content across multiple platforms.

This role combines content creation, video hosting, and social media management. You will be responsible for producing content that is not only visually appealing but also engaging and aligned with marketing goals.

You must be comfortable speaking on camera and able to communicate clearly in professional English.

What You Will Be Doing

1. Social Media Management

• Plan and manage content across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube)

2. Content Creation

• Create short-form and long-form video content
• Design graphics and social media visuals

3. Video Hosting

• Act as a video host for company and client content

• Speak clearly and confidently on camera
• Participate in content shoots (including occasional weekend shoots with off-in-lieu)

4. Creative Collaboration

• Work closely with the marketing team on campaign ideas
• Participate in brainstorming sessions
• Contribute ideas for improving content performance and engagement

5. Execution & Delivery

• Ensure content is delivered on time and aligned with campaign objectives

Requirements

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in social media management or content creation
• Experience creating content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube

Role Objective

 To plan, create, and execute engaging social media content that builds brand awareness, supports marketing campaigns, and drives customer engagement. This role includes hands-on photography, basic video content, and regular posting across key social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities

 Social Media & Content

·        Plan and manage daily content for social media platforms (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, TikTok)

 Photography & Visual Content

·        Take food, beverage, outlet, and lifestyle photos for social media use

·        Conduct simple on-site photo shoots at outlets or brand events

·        Perform basic photo editing (lighting, colour correction, cropping)

·        Ensure all visuals follow brand guidelines and visual standards

 Campaign & Team Support

·        Work closely with Marketing, Operations, and Outlet teams

·        Support promotions, new product launches, and brand campaigns

·        Assist with short video content (Reels, TikTok, simple edits) when required

Job Requirements :

• Starting Salary: $3000 - $3500+ Performance Bonus

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ideate/strategise social media campaigns
• Execute videography and/or video storyboarding, strategising, execution, post-production
• Post on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, XHS, etc
• Use Ad Manager or other tools to schedule, manage and target audiences
• Monitor, optimise, analyse, report to clients

REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Business
• Experience in videography and/or video storyboarding, strategising, execution, post-production; your works should be seen online in TikTok, IG, FB, XHS, YT etc.
