As a PD Engineer, you will take ideas from conception through process development then implementation in our manufacturing facilities. In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will also run the projects of highly technical nature. This role is essential to the success of Micron’s products and may require business-related travel. Systems Process Specialist

As a Systems Process Specialist, you will act in the 1-Stop-Shop and be part of the support, continuous improvement, and onboarding and adoption value streams. The Systems Process Specialist has a profound process understanding and collaborates with the Business Support Community to continuously improve business processes and underlying IT applications.

The Opportunity

• Act as the primary Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for site stakeholders, providing critical 24x7 on-call rotational support (on-site or remote) to troubleshoot high-priority manufacturing applications.

• Spearhead end-to-end incident management, maintaining close coordination and communication with end users and site business stakeholders during major P1/P2 incidents.

• Collaborate with the global IT team across different locations and time zones, supporting and monitoring the quality of IT service ticket closures, validating resolution proposals, and performing necessary testing.

• Support new IT initiatives, product/system rollouts, and Go-Live events at the site, ensuring adherence to Roche's IT quality policies and SOPs.

• Support the application/system lifecycle, acting as a subject matter expert on IT technical requests during GMP audits and planned/unplanned events.

Who you are

• You hold a BS or higher degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Business Administration or an equivalent degree with 2-5 years of relevant work experience in the pharmaceutical industry or IT/OT fields.

• You have solid experience with either SAP (ERP, S/4 HANA) and EWM (e.g., Plan to Delivery Product, Plan to Retire Asset) or Pharmaceutical manufacturing processes. Experience with MES (e.g., Rockwell PharmaSuite) is strongly desirable.

• You are comfortable working in a dynamic environment that requires participation in a 24x7 on-call rotation to support critical, continuous manufacturing operations.

• Good to have: Knowledge of LIMS, Enterprise Service Bus (e.g., Mulesoft, Solace), scripting (e.g., Google Apps Script), BI tools (e.g., Tableau), relational database management systems, and robotic automation.

• Good to have: Knowledge about design, implementation, commissioning, qualification/validation, maintenance of systems, Windows Server Administration, SQL Databases, Data Integrity concepts.

Responsibilities:

·Responsible for API manufacturing process technical support and improvement initiatives for ongoing operations.

·Develops API analytical techniques including HPLC, GC, FTIR, titration and other analyticalmethods for process characterization and process mapping.

·Experience in establishing a robust GMP documentation system for data recording including ELN and Empower, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.

·Acquire knowledge on setting up empower and electronic lab note book

· Designs and executes process improvements and lab studies/experiments

· Serves as at echnical SME; Provides technical expertise to production and S&T

· Addresses and solves technical problems independently.

·Performs independent, advanced and complex data analysis.

·Generates new ideas and demonstrates a high level of scientific initiative.

·Responsible for continuous process improvement activities.

·Identifies equipment or techniques that improve manufacturing processes and operations.

·Authors technical reports and monitors consistency and quality of technical reports.

Requirements:

·Bachelor’s, Master’s in scientific or engineering discipline with 3 to 5+ years of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) Manufacturing experience, depending on degree held.

·Candidate with knowledge of setting up GMP lab is preferred.

·Detailed knowledge of cGMP and regulatory requirements relating to the pharmaceutical industry is required

·Demonstrated strong process development skills,including the ability to deliver innovative process chemistry at scale.

· Strong record of scientific accomplishment

Key Responsibilities:

1. Execute commissioning activities for upstream, downstream, utilities, and process equipment systems.
2. Review P&IDs, process flow diagrams, design specifications, and vendor documentation.
3. Lead system walkdowns, punch listing, and mechanical completion verification.
4. Coordinate SAT, IOQ support, loop checks, functional testing, and start-up activities.
5. Work closely with QA, Validation, Engineering, EHS, and Operations teams to ensure GMP compliance.
6. Support troubleshooting, deviation resolution, and handover to operations.

Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma in Chemical, Process, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of commissioning experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or vaccine manufacturing projects.
• Strong knowledge of GMP environments and process equipment.
• Experience with clean utilities, CIP/SIP, reactors, skids, filtration, and aseptic systems preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced brownfield / greenfield project environment.

• Responsible for New Product Introduction (NPI) reviewing of drawings and specifications provided by Customer
• Raise Supplier Problem Sheet (SPS) for any issue observe at the review for customer clarification and disposition for NPI parts
