• Maintain proper records of safety inspections, training, and incidents.
• Ensure that all safety equipment (PPE, fire extinguishers, first aid kits) is available, maintained, and used correctly.
• Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and site management on safety-related matters.
• Promote a strong safety culture by encouraging safe work practices and recognizing safe behavior.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
• Certified in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) or equivalent (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, WSQ certifications).
• Experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry preferred
• Knowledge of construction safety regulations, codes, and best practices a plus.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Excellent documentation skills

Location: Novena

Contract Period: 2 years

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 8.30am to 6pm
• Friday: 8.30am to 5.30pm

Job scope:

• Deliver excellent customer service, including attending to visitor enquiries and requests via phone, email, and in-person interactions
• Advise visitors on rules and regulations to ensure a safe and pleasant experience
• Manage bookings and maintain accurate visitor records in the system
• Perform administrative duties, including report preparation, data entry, and distribution of feedback forms
• Conduct daily opening and closing checks of equipment and systems to ensure they are functioning properly
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum GCE 'O' Levels
• At least 1 year of relevant working experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Fluent in English; proficiency in a second language is an advantage
