Job Description (Lithography Technician)
Key Responsibilities:
• Process Operations: Operate and monitor photolithography equipment (e.g.,steppers, scanners, coaters, developers) to transfer circuit patterns onto silicon wafers.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Troubleshoot lithography defects such as bridging, footing, scumming, and resist residues. Perform routine preventive maintenance (PM) and equipment repairs to maximize uptime.
• Process Monitoring: Monitor and analyze Statistical Process Control (SPC/ESPC) charts for lithography modules and respond to Out-of- Control/Out-of-Specification (OOC/OOS) events.
• Equipment Optimization: Collaborate with process engineers to improve yield, optimize processes (e.g., coating thickness, exposure time), and reduce defects.
• Documentation & Safety: Adhere strictly to cleanroom contamination control protocols (5S) and maintain accurate documentation of processes, materials, and test results.
• Shift Operations: Provide frontline support, often working in 12-hour rotating shifts (day/night) to ensure continuous production.
Key Requirements:
• Education: Diploma in Engineering/Science or ITE Higher Nitec/Nitec in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: Generally >3 years of relevant experience in a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment, though junior roles exist.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with photolithography tools, resist coating, developer systems, and 365/248/193nm lithography materials.
• Software: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, data analysis tools, and SPC software.
• Soft Skills: Ability to work independently, strong problem-solving skills, and a "safety-first" mentality.
