• Process and post cash and credit card reimbursements in line with company policy
• Perform supplier statement reconciliations and follow up on variances
• Support timely booking, analysis and control of monthly expenditure
• Contribute ideas to improve data flows, accuracy and process efficiency
• Collaborate with colleagues across the region and head office to ensure smooth and transparent financial operations

REQUIREMENTS

Position Summary

Reservations Executive is responsible for handling and managing the whole reservations process and to assist the Reservations Manager in maximising room sales revenue for the hotel by up-selling and promoting of various room facilities while maintaining a consistently high standard of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage Reservations Sales function of the Hotel
• Update guest profiles for reference when needed
• Handle telephone enquiries, process reservations, upsell rooms and enter data of reservations received
• Maximise potentials in hotel’s occupancy and revenue whilst protecting Hotel's business mix
• Provide efficient and courteous telephone service to guests and callers to create a favorable image of Hotel
• Provide comprehensive and accurate information to internal and external customers
• Build good rapport with business associates and internal customers
• Establishes and maintains good relations with corporate accounts travel agencies, airlines and other booking sources
• Perform any other works as and when assigned by the management

• Verifying and posting of Payable/Receivables into SAP
• Assist in process improvement setting up
• Ensure timely submission of monthly sales reports to shopping mall managements
• Check and complete data entry for AP/AR
• Processing of Payments/Receivables on a monthly basis
• Verify petty cash claims
• Perform outlet cash count periodically
• Posting of journal entries for month end closing
• Liaise with external parties to resolve discrepancies
• Monthly accounts reconciliation
• Other accounts related ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent.
• Meticulous, Independent, responsible and willing to learn.
• Able to meet tight deadlines, multi-task, self-motivated and systematic.
• Familiar with SAP, but not a must.
• Familiar with MS Excel applications.
