Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum Higher NITEC in any Engineering discipline
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings to support inspection accuracy
• Own a motorcycle and travel independently between sites
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in engineering-related fields
• Ability to work regular office hours

• Provide full secretarial and administrative support to the Adjusters which includes typing, amending and issuing of documentation on operations system;
• Preparation of billing invoice for approval;
• Create, save and maintaining electronic correspondences to ensure claims are up to date during the lifecycle of the claim;
• Record and update all data and timesheets ensuring data accuracy in the processing of all claims;
• Assist Adjusters to follow up with clients with email chasers/ phone calls;
• Assist with incoming call queries, provide relevant basis assistance, update the Adjusters and escalate more complex/ technical queries for Adjusters to respond;
• Review outstanding fees list and issue follow up correspondence for Adjusters;
• Prepare and update monthly bordereau for clients;
• Adhere to legal requirements, industry regulations and customer quality standards set by the company;
• Any other related duties as assigned.

Job Description

• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, sub-contractors, and clients
• Monitor project progress to ensure work is completed according to schedule
• Ensure site activities comply with safety regulations and company standards
• Conduct site inspections and report defects, progress, and issues
• Assist in resolving on-site technical and operational problems
• Prepare site reports, progress updates, and documentation
• Track materials delivery and site resources
• Attend site meetings and liaise with stakeholders (HDB officers / residents / contractors)

Job Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Prior experience in construction site coordination (HDB / HIP projects preferred)
• Familiar with local construction regulations and safety requirements (BCA/WSH)
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic site environment
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking ability
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Willing to work on-site (sometimes in residential estates for HIP works)

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Technical Issues

-To review project specifications and technical clarifications.

-To coordinate with Main-Contractors/Sub-Contractors on the shop drawings/samples/method statements and keep all involved parties updated of the latest changes.

-Liaise with Main-contractors, sub-contractor on shop drawing and coordinate for site activities on site.

-Check and revise the drawing, report to project engineer for approval.

2. Site Operations

-To target and ensure timely and smooth progress of works

-Perform site inspection and ensure that the work are carried out based on the project specification and construction drawing

-To Coordinate with MC for technical、progress、quantity、follow up and solve the issue.

-Fill up the inspection form and follow site inspection and close the comment with site team

3. Documentation

-To carry out project planning, design, material requisition, cost control, project supervision and documentation

-Preparing and Joint Method of statements SWP and relevant drawings for site works.

-konwledge in Mandrain languages to handle queries and feedbacks from chinese worker and chinese forman
