• Responsible for the safe and efficient lifting of materials and precast components on site
• Ensuring timely delivery and proper coordination with the site team

Responsibilities

• Operate tower crane to lift and position materials or precast products safely on site
• Ensure safe handling and delivery of materials to designated locations to prevent damage or delays
• Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on the crane to maintain operational safety
• Comply with workplace safety and health regulations and site-specific requirements to uphold safety standards
• Collaborate closely with site supervisors and signalmen to coordinate crane operations and ensure smooth workflow

Required competencies and certifications

• Hold a valid Tower Crane Operator License recognized by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) or Building and Construction Authority (BCA)
• Demonstrate effective communication skills to coordinate safely with adjacent crane operators

1. Preparing and mixing different types of raw materials to get the plaster ready
2. Applying the plaster to the surface being worked on (inside walls, ceilings, outside walls)
3. Carrying out solid plastering
4. Fitting internal plasterboards, also referred to as dry lining or wallboard. This task can involve affixing partitions
5. Installing outer coverings,such as pebble-dash or sand, on outside walls for protection
6. Using moulds and casts for the creation of ornaments and other types of plaster work
7. Understanding and managing the quantities of material required for the job

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and supervise the work of sub0contractors and in-house workers
• Understand and ensure compliance with project requirements and scope of work.
• Co-operate with safety personnel always ensure adherence to Workplace Safety & Health at all times.
• Assist PM and Project Engineers on the daily execution of permanent and temporary works such as road diversion, drainage and pavement work and etc.
• Ensure installation is carried out as per construction drawings
• Ensure that work is executed within an acceptable standard of workmanship with observation of strict deadlines.
• Perform safety, equipment, materials routine inspection
• To monitor the progress and quality of work being performed by workers.
• Attend daily toolbox meeting and convey clear instruction accordingly.
• Maintain and update work progress records, housekeeping and prepare reports.
• Responsible for materials and manpower planning usage at site.
• Other ad hoc duties assigned day to day.

Job Requirements:

1. Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in civil engineering
2. Candidate with relevant certificate will be an added advantage
3. Mandarin speaking and written is essential knowledge due to co-ordinate with Chinese client and project team.
4. High pro-active attitude, self-motivated, team player, strong problem-solving and communication skills
