As a PD Engineer, you will take ideas from conception through process development then implementation in our manufacturing facilities. • PhD in Physics, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, or related fields

• Understanding in one or more of the following topics Transport phenomena, Electromagnetics, Atomic/Molecular physics, and Surface phenomena.

• Solid troubleshooting, experimental design and data analysis skills.

• Strong computer skills, including MS Office.

• Plasma physics background and understanding of plasma sources used in plasma CVD is highly preferred.

• Understanding of CVD and Diffusion deposition processing principles.

• Rudimentary understanding of process control and Statistical Process Control (SPC).

Key Responsibilities

Quality System, ISO & Audit

• Act as Management Representative (MR) forISO 9001 certification.
• Plan, conduct, and coordinate internal quality audits and follow upcorrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, customer requirements, and regulatoryobligations.
• Maintain, review, and control all quality system documentation, procedures,and records.

Quality Reporting & Data Analysis (Core Focus)

• Prepare and submit weekly and monthlyquality reports to management.
• Track and analyze NCR status, customer return closure cycle time, DPPM,FA/NPI First Pass Yield, and audit findings.
• Monitor operational and quality performance data to identify trends, risks,and improvement opportunities.
• Support management reviews with accurate data and analysis.

FA / NPI & Quality Planning

• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering,and Production on FA and NPI quality requirements.
• Create and maintain Quality Control Plans, Inspection Plans, and CMMinspection programs for new products.
• Monitor FA/NPI cycle time and drive continual improvement activities.

• Participate in quality improvementprojects.

Customer & Supplier Quality Management

• Act as the primary liaison with customersand suppliers on quality-related matters.
• Manage customer feedback, Engineering Change Notices (ECN), andNon-Conformance Reports (NCR).
• Ensure timely corrective actions, closure, and regular status updates.
• Escalate scrap and major quality issues to the Quality Manager immediately.

Calibration & Measurement Control

• Manage calibration of measuringinstruments, equipment, and tools to ensure accuracy and traceability.
• Maintain calibration schedules and records and ensure timely calibration.
• Coordinate with external calibration service providers when required.

Continuous Improvement & Operational Support

• Identify quality risks and process gapsand implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support continual improvement initiatives and business continuity planning.
• Research and review technical and quality-related data for internal andcustomer needs.
• Track work schedules to meet reporting, audit, and submission deadlines.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Higher Nitec or higher in Precision Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification is preferred.
• Experience acting as Management Representative (MR) is a strong advantage.
• Proven experience in quality reporting, documentation control, and auditmanagement.
• Familiar with FA, NPI, CMM inspection, and manufacturing quality systems.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
• Experience in precision engineering or manufacturing environment preferred.

A structural formwork designer in the construction industry plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient design of temporary structures required for concrete placement. This role requires a strong foundation in structural engineering principles, proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla), and practical knowledge of construction methods and materials. Effective communication and problem-solving skills are also essential to succeed as a structural formwork designer.

1. Design formwork systems (aluminium formwork and system formwork) to support concrete structures (slabs, beams, columns, walls, etc.) during construction.
2. Ensure designs adhere to engineering principles, building codes, and safety regulations.
3. Select appropriate materials (e.g., plywood, aluminium, steel) based on project specifications.
4. Perform structural analysis to determine load capacities, deflection limits, and stability of formwork systems.
5. Ensure designs can withstand live loads, dead loads, and environmental factors (wind, vibration, etc.).
6. Work closely with project managers, site engineers, and construction teams to align formwork designs with construction schedules and site conditions.
7. Coordinate with architects and structural engineers to integrate formwork designs with overall project plans.
8. Ensure formwork designs meet safety standards and regulatory compliance.
9. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards associated with formwork installation and removal.
10. Optimize the use of formwork materials to minimize costs and waste.
11. Explore reusable or modular formwork systems to enhance sustainability and efficiency.
12. Prepare detailed formwork drawings, specifications, and assembly instructions.
13. Provide technical support to site teams during formwork assembly, installation, and dismantling.
14. Research and implement new technologies and materials to improve formwork efficiency and durability.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of engineering principles related to load-bearing structures and construction methods.
• At least 5 Years of working experience in the related field.
