Technical Requirements:

1. Experience with virtualisation platforms (e.g., VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, Nutanix).
2. Experience with storage systems (SAN, NAS) and enterprise backup solutions (e.g.,Commvault, Veeam, Cohesity).
3. Proficiency in Red Hat Linux and/or Windows Server administration.
4. Familiarity with monitoring and observability platforms.
5. Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing and switching, firewalls, load balancing, and network segmentation.
6. Understanding of data centre network fundamentals.
7. Experience with high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.
8. Experience supporting infrastructure modernization and migration initiatives.
9. Strong documentation skills.
10. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and hybrid infrastructure concepts.

1. Maintain and support critical infrastructure platforms, including compute, storage, virtualization, and supporting systems across development, staging, and production environments.
2. Implement platform standards, automation, and modern operational practices to improve efficiency and reliability.
3. Support infrastructure enhancement and modernisation initiatives in alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
4. Manage virtualisation platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix), including capacity monitoring, performance optimisation, and lifecycle management.
5. Execute patching and upgrade strategies using automation while minimising service disruption.
6. Provide L2/L3 technical support, including incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
7. Maintain backup, disaster recovery (DR), and high-availability (HA) solutions.
8. Implement and enforce security controls, including access management, system hardening, and compliance monitoring.
9. Collaborate with application, network, and vendor teams to ensure platform stability, scalability, and service performance.
10. Develop and maintain documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
11. Support and troubleshoot infrastructure and network-related issues to ensure end-to-end service availability.
12. Support cloud migration and hybrid infrastructure initiatives, including workload assessment, migration planning, and post-migration operational support.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• ensures all drawings, bills of materials, purchase requisitions and quality checks are completed as per project schedule and ISO 9001 processes.
• conducts Design Reviews to analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs and the procedures and instructions to be followed.
• confers with customer representatives to review specifications and answer questions pertaining to installation of systems.
• supports during manufacturing, assembly, de-bug, and customer buy-off.
• writes technical reports, manuals and technical support documentation
• performs a wide variety of additional functions to meet project schedules and product deliveries
• reads, understands, and acts upon mechanical drawings including piece part and assembly drawings, work instructions, and procedures
• determines manufacturing methods, techniques, and procedures as required to perform tasks as required for to ensure designs perform as required
• designs test fixtures and setups as needs arise
• communicates with vendors to support procurement and to address issues
• Responsible for any other role as assigned by the Operations Manager

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or an equivalent degree in related technical field desired
• 3 to 5 years relevant experience in mechanical engineering and material handling systems across various industries.
• SolidWorks or AutoCAD experience desired
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principle involved in production of precision technical drawings, and models
• Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to design and production
• Knowledge of design principles, steel and aluminum part creation, sub assembly and pneumatics.
• Ability to work independently in designing and liaising with customers on technical specifications and requirements
• Participate in and effectively communicate in group discussions and meetings
• Ability to work well in a team environment

• Remuneration package: $4,000 to $7,500

• Must possess PE Board recognized Civil Engineering Degree

• Top Leading A1 Main Contractor in LTA Project

Responsibilities

• Support PM on project management, site management to meet project objective

• Supervise execution of construction work carried out in accordance to contract, company standard and safety & health standards

• Coordinate with client’s representative, consultants, authorities, sub-con & suppliers

Mechanical Engineer (UPW / WWTP) – Semiconductor Industry

Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the execution of semiconductor Ultra-Pure Water (UPW) and Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical review, inspection, coordination, and quality oversight of mechanical equipment including pumps, valves, pressure vessels, tanks, skids, and associated piping systems.

The role requires close collaboration with Project, Construction, Commissioning, Supply Chain, Engineering, and QA/QC teams to ensure equipment and project deliverables meet technical specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage technical matters relating to mechanical equipment including pumps, valves, pressure vessels, tanks, skids, piping systems, technical drawings, and P&IDs.
• Review equipment specifications, vendor documents, technical drawings, and P&IDs to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Conduct receiving inspections of equipment and materials delivered to site and verify condition, completeness, and compliance with specifications.
• Support review of batch records, quality records, inspection reports, and related project documentation.
• Generate, maintain, and control document submittal registers, technical records, and project documentation.
• Ensure project quality and technical documents are prepared, approved, and maintained in accordance with contractual requirements.
• Review equipment and process logs to monitor performance, compliance, and operational requirements.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and provide technical recommendations to support project execution and product quality.
• Work closely with Project, Construction, Commissioning, Supply Chain, Engineering, and QA/QC teams to ensure successful equipment delivery and project completion.
• Support investigations into quality-related issues and participate in corrective and preventive action implementation.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and third-party inspection bodies on technical and quality-related matters.
• Assess supplier and subcontractor compliance with project technical and quality requirements.
• Report inspection findings, technical concerns, non-conformances, and project issues to the Engineering Manager, QA/QC Manager, or Project Manager in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the Semiconductor, Electronics, Ultra-Pure Water (UPW), Water Treatment Plant (WTP), or Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) industries.
• Experience working with pumps, valves, pressure vessels, tanks, skids, piping systems, and mechanical equipment packages.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documents.
• Familiarity with equipment inspections, vendor documentation review, and project documentation control.
• Good understanding of quality requirements, equipment verification, and construction/commissioning activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate technical issues and recommend practical solutions.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting semiconductor facility projects.
