• Supervise and coordinate M&E works at project sites to maintain quality and compliance
• Ensure M&E works are completed on time, within budget, and comply with all relevant standards, codes of practice, and safety regulations
• Interpret and apply main contract and subcontract requirements to M&E works
• Monitor progress and workmanship quality to ensure adherence to project specifications and standards
• Prepare structural penetration shop drawings for approval to facilitate construction processes
• Develop M&E coordination drawings and collaborate with Architectural Coordinators and Design Engineers to finalize drawings for approval
• Communicate effectively in verbal and written forms to coordinate with project stakeholders

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience working on HDB residential projects
• Approximately 5 years of relevant experience with main contractors in construction projects
• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Responsibilities

. Prepare and estimate pre-tender and budgetary costing and submission.

. Prepare Bills of Quantities, estimate cost and call quotations including analyzing and evaluating for costing of tender.

. Study and identify discrepancies in tender /contract documents and raise queries for clarifications.

. Prepare LOI/LOA, awarding Subcontractors.

. Contract administration and documentation including Monthly progress claims, Variation Works with the Clients /Main Contractors.

. Evaluation and certify sub-contractors progress claims, variation works including contract administration.

. Other quantity surveying related duties for projects.

Requirements

. Degree, Diploma in Quantity Surveying or any relevant discipline

. Min 1 year of experience in similar field (interior design, furniture & fixtures, etc)

. Work independently with minimum supervision

. Highly organised and detail – oriented
