What do we expect from you?

Vendor selection

• Leading vendor evaluations and providing input into vendor selection decisions.

• Facilitating and obtaining necessary internal management approvals for projects.

Project enablement and oversight

• Enabling project managers to focus on delivery by providing strong pre‑project definition and solution readiness.
• Providing ongoing guidance during delivery on scope interpretation and solution consistency.
• Identifying and escalating risks relating to scope creep, architectural misalignment, or delivery feasibility.
• Promoting structured, transparent, and repeatable delivery best practices across initiatives.

Cross functional collaboration

• Supporting cross‑functional discussions and problem solving for initiatives that cut across departments.
• Managing communication consistency across digital initiatives.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. Master’s degree is an added advantage.
• Minimum ten years of experience in enterprise technology, with a track record of leading in-house transformation initiatives covering solution design, enterprise architecture and delivery.
• Preferred certifications include TOGAF (or equivalent Enterprise Architecture) and project delivery certifications like PMP or PRINCE2.
• Strong experience operating at the interface of business, IT, and vendors.
• Proven experience shaping initiatives in early phases of the project (use cases, solution options, business cases).
• Experience supporting vendor selections, vendor evaluations, and contract scope definition.
• Experience working with enterprise systems (ERP, business applications, data platforms and integration tools).
• Good understanding of enterprise architecture and solution design principles.
• Strong understanding of project governance frameworks and delivery methodologies.
• Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to operate independently, with sound judgement and pragmatic decision‑making.

Responsibilities:

This position is for a Risk Management Officer to Assistant Manager level professional who will support the Risk Management function of the Singapore Branch. 

• Collect, analyze, and monitor data across credit, market, liquidity, operational, and IT-related risks
• Support stress testing, scenario analysis, and gap analysis for various risk areas
• Assist with credit reviews, portfolio analysis, and watchlist/early warning account management
• Review borrowers' financial condition, covenant compliance, collateral, and ratings
• Monitor funding gaps, liquidity indicators, currency positions, and prepare related reports
• Support market risk reporting (interest rate risk, VaR, BpV, securities holdings)
• Prepare materials for Credit, ALM, Operational Risk, and Compliance Committees
• Review operational risk events, incidents, and remediation status
• Perform gap analysis on MAS circulars, guidelines, and notices against current operations
• Maintain and update risk management policies, manuals, and checklists
• Support responses to MAS queries, audits, and Head Office requests
• Drive process improvements and internal control enhancements

Requirements:

• Min 1 to 5 years of experience in risk management within financial institutions or audit firms
• Experience in analysis, reporting, review, or governance-related activities
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts), PowerPoint, and Word
• Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently in a small team
• Attention to detail and willingness to perform detailed reviews and documentation
• Proactive in identifying and escalating issues to management
• Collaborative working style while maintaining Second Line of Defense independence
• Pragmatic and adaptable to the practical constraints of a small banking organization
