BIM Manager

Responsibilities:

• Act as the main point of contact for BIM, managing and coordinating its use and delivery for the contract.

• Ensure proper implementation of the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and deliverables, while facilitating effective collaboration and coordination of design teams in line with the Singapore BIM Guide.

• Develop , implement, and enforce BIM standards and libraries.

• Create and maintain software template files to ensure compliance with standards.

• Establish andenforce BIM documentation and workflow process standards.

• Report on the project’s current and projected BIM implementation status.

• Integrate BIM usage with design management and construction teams for submittals, construction models, shop drawings, and schedules.

• Audit models regularly to ensure compliance with BIM requirements, including modelling procedures and data integrity.

• Attend and contribute to model management and coordination meetings, communicating updates and issues to project teams.

• Develop procedures for managing construction and asset information documentation in accordance with PAS 1192.

• Participate actively in design and model coordination meetings and review sessions.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in design engineering, construction engineering or Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) project management.

• Preferably with at least 3 years of BIM experience as a Project level BIM Manager role in a large scale or infrastructure project and has completed on full project cycle at design phase or construction phase.

• Certified with Specialist Diploma in Building Information Modelling (BIM) by BCA Academy and any BIM authoring software’s modelling course by the software vendor’s authorised training provider.  Candidate certified with Digital Delivery Lead (Digital Delivery Management (DDM) Tier 2)will also be considered.

• For design coordination purposes, the candidate is preferable to be conversant in BIM software such as Navisworks Manage, Solibri Office, VRCollab, Navigator, etc.

Job Description

· Report to Project Manager, oversee the implementation of construction works and be responsible for coordinating with consultants and subcontractors on structural works/drawings to ensure timely completion and quality standards of the project.

· Overall in charge on Structural Coordinated Drawing Production (Concrete Body Plan), material and method statement submission, ensure accuracy and timely submission as per master program.

· Review and submit shop-drawings, RFI,RFA,MOS,MAS and etc.

· Ensure implementation of sustainable engineering procedures and guidelines.

· Effective communication and coordination between project participants.

· Lead structural coordination meeting, and prepare relevant meeting minutes.

· Liaise with clients, consultants, relevant authorities, and sub-contractors on Structural issues.

· In charge on B-score and C-score documentation.

· Handle any other ad-hoc duties and tasks assigned.

Requirements

· Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or its equivalent.

· Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in the construction industry.

· Relevant experience would be an added advantage.

·      Issuance of non-conformance report (NCRs) and monitor the performance of subcontractor for all trades to ensure defects are properly rectified

·      Attend off-site inspection at precast yard

·      Manage all correspondences and documentation related to quality matters

·      Prepare unit defects report upon work completion of each trade and follow up with unit rectification completion

·      Perform checks to ensure that the final touch-up works are ready for CONQUAS/ QM assessment

·      Arrange and liaise with BCA for CONQUAS/ QM assessments

·      Attend to project handover process to Client/ Purchaser/ MA when needed
