Job Summary

Manage construction projects with a focus on structural, architectural, and MEP works, ensuring compliance, scheduling, and coordination with stakeholders to deliver timely and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with consultants, sub-contractors, clients, and stakeholders on all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) matters to ensure compliance with requirements and specifications and maintain project schedules
• Attend coordination meetings to align project progress and resolve issues
• Arrange and adjust work schedules according to project timelines to meet deadlines
• Monitor work progress on-site and provide timely feedback to the Project Manager to support decision-making

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree in Civil, Building, Structural, or Construction Management from a recognized institution
• Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, Excel, and PowerPoint to manage project documentation and scheduling
• Knowledge of BCA and other relevant authorities’ regulations to ensure regulatory compliance
• Experience in construction/project management including structural, architectural, and Medical projects
• Experience in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) works for interior projects, preferably in hospital environments

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all levels of management
• Leadership skills to organize, take initiative, and work independently with responsibility and analytical thinking

This position has the following responsibilities:

WSH Safety Coordinator

Safety Compliance:

· Ensure the construction site complies with all relevant Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations, guidelines, and codes of practice.

· Regularly update site safety protocols to reflect changes in local regulations or company policies.

· Liaise with regulatory bodies such as the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and other authorities to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

Risk Management:

· Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards on site.

· Develop and implement control measures to mitigate identified risks.

· Monitor and review risk assessments regularly, updating them as necessary.

Safety Inspections and Audits:

· Perform daily site inspections

· Conduct periodic safety audits, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.

· Ensure that all equipment and machinery are in safe working condition and that safety devices are properly installed and functional.

Training and Education:

· Organize and conduct safety training sessions for all site personnel, including toolbox talks, safety inductions, and emergency response drills.

· Educate workers on the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other safety measures.

· Maintain records of all safety training sessions and ensure that all employees are aware of site safety protocols.

Incident Management:

· Investigate any accidents, incidents, or near-misses to determine their cause and recommend preventive measures.

· Prepare and submit detailed incident reports to management and relevant authorities as required.

· Ensure that all incidents are documented and that lessons learned are communicated to the site team to prevent recurrence.

Safety Documentation and Reporting:

· Maintain all safety records, including inspection logs, safety training records, incident reports, and risk assessments.

· Prepare monthly safety performance reports for submission to the Site Manager and Project Manager.

· Monitor and report on key safety metrics, such as accident frequency rates and safety compliance levels.

Skills:

· A diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field

· MUST Possess Advanced Certificate in WSH Safety Coordinators Training Course

· Good to have: Certification in Lifting Supervisors Safety Course, Certification in Supervision of Metal Scaffold Erection Course, Certification in WAH Supervisor course, Occupational First Aid Course (OFA), Managing Work at Height

· Additional certificates related to safety is an added advantage

· Proficient in report writing.

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

· Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and at heights, as required

· May need to work extended hours, including weekends, to meet project deadlines.

We Are Hiring: Site Engineer (Various Locations)
We are seeking a Site Engineer to manage site works for specified building blocks/external works, including progress, quality, safety, and etc.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Preparing micro work schedule according to Master Program and coordinating with various sub-cons and suppliers to achieve it
• Carrying out inspections with RE/RTO according to approved Method of Statements, Materials, drawings, and etc.
• Ensuring quality control and carrying out rectification works if any non-compliance
• Ensuring safety and environment control compliance on site
• Attending relevant meetings and reporting progress/quality/safety daily/weekly
• Ensuring resources to be provided timely and correctively, including material, equipment, and etc.
• Any other works assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

• Diploma / Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or its equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Residential Construction Industry
• Preferably with HDB Project Experience
