Position Summary

The Process Engineer (Lithography) is responsible for the development and establishment of production process.

Responsibilities

• Review and accept machine buyoff, setup pilot line process and transfer from pilot line to production line for lithography process
• Establish, review and update specifications, workflow, quality and safety related documentation for production line.
• Troubleshoot process issue and improve process capabilities, yield and cycle time from customer NPI stage to LVM/HVM stage.
• Process sustaining and control through SPC and periodic defect Pareto Analysis.
• Lead and drive SPC control towards zero defects. Review and update FMEA, Control plan OCAP with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate and liaise with vendor/suppliers on process issue or quality issue.
• Support customer NPI activities and internal engineering activities.
• New material, process & machine development and qualification.
• Handle and manage customer audits and 8D reports.
• Provide disposition for engineering and production lots.
• Conduct process characterization and qualification to establish process baseline.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Science, Microelectronics, Chemical Engineering or relevant engineering degrees.
• Minimum 3-years hands-on Lithography process experience in area of in the Wafer-level Fanout packaging production line or LCD/FPD production line.
• Knowledge in process engineering, process control engineering and yield enhancement.
• Experience in SPC, DOE, FMEA, and 8D reports

Core Duties and Responsibilities

• Site Investigation & Evaluation: Conducting field tests, subsurface investigations, borings, and sampling to evaluate bedrock and soil conditions for development suitability.
• Foundation & Earthworks Design: Designing deep and shallow foundations, retaining walls, slopes, dams, and tunnels, while considering load, soil characteristics, and environmental impacts.
• Geological Hazard Assessment: Assessing risks and mitigating hazards such as slope instability, landslides, erosion, subsidence, and earthquakes.
• Laboratory Testing & Analysis: Analyzing soil and rock samples in laboratory settings to determine properties like strength, compressibility, and permeability.
• Construction Support & Monitoring: Inspecting construction sites, supervising ground improvement techniques, and checking that foundations are built according to engineering specifications.
• Reporting & Modeling: Using specialist computer software (2D/3D modeling) to prepare technical reports, geological maps, and recommendations for stakeholders
• Required Skills and Expertise
• Technical Knowledge: Expertise in geology, soil mechanics, rock mechanics, and civil engineering principles.
• Project Management: Coordinating field investigations, managing project budgets, and collaborating with civil engineers.

As a Senior High Bandwidth Memory Test Engineer at Micron, you will develop, debug, and maintain code that enables the parallel testing of advanced memory devices. Micron Test Engineers support R&D, interacting closely with global teams, as well as taking part in the designing and debugging of test hardware. In this position, you will constantly learn new device specifications and operations in order to develop efficient and innovative solutions of production test flows thru test algo optimization. Additionally, you will take responsibility to gain a firm understanding of the functionality of advanced memory devices as defined in product data sheets.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

• Experienced of definition of Test Plans for new tests and test algorithms for HBM, which covers test software and hardware requirements, defect coverage, characterization, trending, process flow, and test times.

• Experienced on test programs development for products using primarily Python and C coding on automated test equipment in the given area followed by test program release to manufacturing area.

• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the device/part as it applies to device/part testing.

• Ensure all test programs, scripts, and any other software adhere to the release quality standards. 

• Independently debug and identify root causes on test issues and provide solutions across internal/external groups.

• Provide meaningful statistical data analysis, analytics and justification on program validation and its release to ensure program quality.

• Evaluate and verify yields/quality with global teams to ensure we are shipping the highest quality product to our customers with enforce to all data sheet specifications.

• Support both internal and external groups on experiments designed to improve yield or capacity by resolving test issues that impact site in a timely manner.

• Drive Innovation and Improvement with the end goal of reducing the Cost of Test for Micron in the Test Department.

• Support intra-departmental (and multi-site) teams in development of new processes and capabilities to support product roadmap; lead teams and drive development where necessary.

• Communicate effectively with both internal and external customers Implement Solutions to Issues Related to Probe and Test processes in a Timely Manner 

• Demonstrate ability to leverage on existing resources Serve as a Liaison and Coach 

• Actively share and/or present technical information to a wide variety of audiences, including formal presentations (when necessary) to area, department, site, or larger industry groups 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, or Electronics Engineering 

• Minimum 5 years of experience in test solution engineering in semiconductor industry.

• Experienced in digital systems and digital logic for DRAM or HBM.
