Job Summary

The role focuses on equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic process monitoring to ensure stable production, high yield, and minimal downtime. Job Description & Requirements

• Report to Project Manager / Site Manager for the Arrangement of work
• Liaise with consultants for the submission and approval of materials and shop drawings
• Responsible for planning, programming and monitoring of work progress on site
• Co-ordinate the inspection work by Resident Engineer and clerk of works
• Handling technical and engineering problems on site
• Ensure site safety and proper execution of site work procedure on site
• Monitor and co-ordinate the works of subcontractors
• Manage and control workers and monitor their work closely to keep site safer and neat.
• Supervise ongoing site activities closely.
• Other ad-hoc assigned by the Company.

Overall Job Objectives
Assists the PM to oversee the construction activities, progress, planning, implementing, and monitoring of work schedules in accordance with the master and detailed work programme

Core Responsibilities
1. Attend site meetings and inspection

2. Preparation of documentation including project status report, method of statement and work procedure for the project.

3. Planning, executing, monitoring and control of the project.

4. Liaising and coordinating with all parties such as clients, consultants, consultants’ representatives, site supervisors, and sub-contractors

5. Handing of technical and engineering problems

6. Supervise ongoing site activities closely

7. Ensuring that the quality control of the project is met

8. Ensure that all the construction safety rules and regulations are being observed

9. Prepare necessary work and safety permits, submission documents and drawings once work are completed.

10. Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned

Job Specifications
1. Degree in Civil Engineering or related disciplines

2. Able to read/understand/execute work based on construction drawings

3. Good communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills

4. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma in engineering discipline with minimum 1–3 years experience.
• Fresh degree graduates will be considered for Associate Application Engineer level.
• Solid understanding of semiconductor machine equipment—you know your way around the tools of the trade.
• Hands-on experience with semiconductor device manufacturing and quality control processes.
• Confident in troubleshooting PC hardware and Windows operating systems—you’re the person people call when things go wrong.
• Skilled in diagnosing servo systems, electrical components, and devices like sensors, relays, and temperature controllers is a plus.
• It’s a plus if you have experience with programming languages like C++, C#, Python or Excel macro —bonus points if you’ve built something cool!
• Familiarity with optical inspection equipment used in semiconductor environments is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken—you can explain complex ideas clearly.
• Candidates must be open to international travel to work with customers and work cross teams based in Singapore.
