You keep things running: both customers and stock.

This role has two main parts:customer coordinator and inventory controller. You will be the first person our customers speak with after they send an enquiry. You will also make sure our warehouse records are correct, stock levels are right, and items move in and out properly.

No technical background needed, but you must be careful, organised, and genuinely good with people.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Customer Service & CaseCoordination

•     Be the first contact for new enquiries:call quickly, confirm details, answer questions, and record follow-ups in our system

•     Record goods received from suppliers or returned from dealers, and register EV charger serial numbers when they arrive

•     Track charger collection from dealer parts departments and update records accordingly

•     Monitor stock levels daily and alert the team when items are running low

•     Keep inventory records tidy and accurate: withdrawals, receipts, and regular stock counts

General Office Administration

•     Keep customer and case records accurate and up to date at all times

•     Act on new enquiries and pending items raised by the team without needing reminders

•     Follow our standard procedures (SOPs). Consistency and reliability are central to how we work

•     Help with other office tasks as the team needs

• Financial Administration: Prepare progress payment claims for clients, and accurately issue Tax Invoices, payment certificates, and works orders.

3. Site Operations & Variation Management

• Site Valuations: Visit project sites regularly to conduct physical measurements, joint measurements, and accurate assessments of work done for payment evaluations.

• Meeting Representation: Coordinate, facilitate, and actively attend site and commercial meetings with project stakeholders.

• Variations & Final Accounts: Manage, negotiate, and settle Variation Orders (VOs) and Final Accounts for clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

• Project Ownership: Independently handle individual construction projects as assigned by management from inception to final account closure.

4. Corporate & System Compliance

• Integrated Management System (IMS): Strictly implement and adhere to all corporate procedures and quality benchmarks under ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental), and ISO 45001 (Workplace Safety & Health).

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building, or a related built-environment discipline.

• Experience: * Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in quantity surveying and commercial contracts management within the construction sector.

  • Proven track record of managing tender cycles, measurements, and post-contract accounts.

• Technical Knowledge:

  • Strong working knowledge of local standard methods of measurement (e.g., SMM7 / HESSM), building codes, and standard forms of contract.

  • Proficiency in measuring software (e.g., Cubicost, CostX) and MS Excel.

Communication & Negotiation: Strong interpersonal skills to interface smoothly with site teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

Budgeting: Preparing and managing project budgets, including forecasting costs and expenditures. Quantity Surveyors monitor and control costs throughout the project to ensure it remains within budgetary constraints.

Tendering and Procurement: Preparing tender documents, evaluating bids, and negotiating contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors. Quantity Surveyors handle the procurement process to obtain the best value for money.

Cost Control: Monitoring and controlling project costs, tracking expenses, and analyzing cost variances. They identify cost-saving opportunities and suggest value engineering options without compromising quality.

Valuation and Payment: Assessing the value of work completed by contractors and subcontractors, preparing progress payment certificates, and managing payment processes. Quantity Surveyors ensure accurate and fair compensation for work done.

Risk Management: Identifying and assessing financial risks associated with a project. They analyze potential cost overruns, delays, and changes and implement strategies to mitigate risks.

Contract Administration: Managing contract documentation, change orders, and claims. Quantity Surveyors review contract terms and conditions, handle contractual disputes and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Final Account Settlement: Evaluating the final costs of a project, reconciling variations, and preparing the final account statement. Quantity Surveyors negotiate and settle final payments with contractors and subcontractors.

Value Engineering: Collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors to find cost-effective alternatives that maintain the desired project quality. Quantity Surveyors suggest value engineering options to optimize costs.
