Job description:

1. Good standards and understanding construction quality assurance
2. Perform checks on the structural, architectural or material / works in steel, extrusion, metal (mild steel / stainless steel / aluminium), glass and aluminium sheet related to ensure that the final touch-up works are ready for inspections.
3. Coordinate on quality matters with project team, conduct regular inspection to ensure works are in compliance with method statements & proper sequence of work and in accordance to BCA’s good industry practice.
4. Ensure that all project quality records and quality audit plans are maintained, assist in yearly ISO audit.
5. Prepare Quality Control Plan, procedures, and QA/QC reports.
6. Conduct periodic training for site personnel and subcontractor’s workers where necessary.
7. Identify, feedback and provide corrective actions in areas of quality control and quality standards.
8. Ensure legal obligations are followed and ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies and with health and safety guidelines.
9. Document QA/QC activities and creating audit reports.

Requirement:

1. Degree/Diploma in Engineering or a related field.
2. Familiar with Curtain Wall System.
3. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Facade projects in Singapore.
4. Knowledge of MS Projects, Office, AutoCAD, etc.

Job Summary

Design and coordinate mechanical systems for construction projects, ensuring compliance with standards and safety regulations. Manage multiple projects, conduct inspections, troubleshoot equipment, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver efficient MEP solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems using AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks to prepare detailed mechanical system drawings
• Perform HVAC system design, including duct sizing and pressure drop calculations to optimize air distribution
• Coordinate mechanical and electrical system installations, ensuring integration with architectural and electrical requirements
• Conduct clash detection and produce Combined Services Drawings (CSD) to resolve conflicts between trades
• Lead site installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems to ensure project specifications are met
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of Automated Rail Mounted Gantry (ARMG) cranes to reduce downtime by 90%
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in automation yard cranes to improve operational efficiency
• Maintain accurate records of crane maintenance activities and manage inspections by relevant authorities
• Adhere strictly to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations while working at heights and in live traffic areas
• Study construction drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure compliance and project alignment
• Liaise with contractors, clients, suppliers, and relevant authorities to resolve on-site issues and provide project updates
• Attend coordination and technical meetings to align project requirements and progress
