Responsible for managing commodities/categories worldwide, including goods and services that support the company and its customers. Emphasis is on strategy, supplier development, negotiations, business relationships, quality, cost, assurance of supply and predictability. Develops the company procurement strategies, policies and tactics required to achieve objectives. Primary objective is to reduce the cost of supply and meet demand requirements, business and quality specifications, and revenue goals. Adds value to the company through managing performance aspects of major contracts and subcontracts.

Education and Experience Required:

- Assist the management on daily operational matters

Responsibilities

• Prepares key project documentation including purchase specifications for structural items ,
• Develop drawings, design basis, design report and other engineering documentations by utilising engineering common network, software and tools for hull structure basic design and detail design,
• Develop and/or Review structural calculation report , FEM analysis report
• Coordinates with external design house, client, classification/ certificate verification authority on technical issues and design solutions in the awarded project

• Liaises with owners, statutory and classification authorities for design compliance review and approval on the proposed project plans in meeting project requirements
• Generates reports on work progress and submits to senior team members for review and approval before submitting to owners, statutory and classification authorities for approval and maintains project database for future references
• Performs studies on a new range of offshore substation, and generates analysis on the basic structure design
• Performs analysis on main structure by generating design stress analysis to ensure design adequacy of structural members and details in main foundational framework
• Provide support to production during project construction phase, prepare lifting padeye drawing for major block lifting, and perform lifting analysis
