RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned :

• Maintain and ensure the IT systems, such as network administration, servers, desktop systems, office systems & etc. are well maintained and operate reliably. Duties include: regular monitoring, preventive maintenance, security patches, backup, recovery, review and upgrade.
• Responsible for all day-to-day IT related matters and to provide technical support for both hardware and software issues the users encounter as well as provide relevant IT training to the users.
• Manage end user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations in accordance with best practices for computers, email, applications and change request for all locations.
• Implement information security policies and governance to ensure compliance controls with commercial and legal requirements are met.
• Ensure security of data, network access, backup systems and maintain updated documentation of all IT systems.
• Assist with vendor evaluation, recommendation and negotiations. Manage third party vendors to ensure services and support are delivered in accordance with Service Agreement.
• Liasie with external providers for all business operating systems for any troubleshooting and their maintenance.
• Monitor current and future trends, technology and information that will enhance company’s growth.
• Manage and maintain accurate records of all local IT assets/inventory and asset configuration documentation.
• Develop required reports in response to business user and management needs.
• Administer and maintain the group’s Office 365 in all locations.
• Assist in any IT related ad-hoc projects when needed in all locations.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Degree in Information Technology or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years experience in IT managerial role.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of all front of the house and back of the house areas during the shift ensure that all areas are always in an orderly manner, clean and free of debris, adhering to the Occupational Safety and Health requirements.
• Plan and conduct periodic training for all Front Office employees to ensure that all brand standards are met.
• Meet and guide the VIPs to their rooms and ensure all relevant departments are informed of their arrival.

• Ensure that all guests are greeted at the driveway and walked to the respective areas within the hotel and all departing guests are thanked for their business and encouraged for return visit.
• Ensure complete guest database are obtained.
• Prepare relevant reports for distribution to all departments.
• Ensure effective handover and takeover of shift, ensuring proper follow-up and resolution of all outstanding issues.
• Ensure keys in their custody are issued only to authorized personnel.
• Authorize rate and room changes, paid outs, cash advances, acceptance of cheque according to procedures and credit policies.
• Review, monitor, resolve all guest requests, feedbacks and all issues pertaining to service standards and communicate information to all relevant departments.
• Initiate correspondence regarding enquiries, reservations, and complaints.
• Monitor room inventory closely ensuring maximum utilization of rooms to generate higher revenue.
• Knowledgeable on emergency procedures as part of a first response team.
• Perform any other job tasks as assigned.

• At least 2 years of working experience in a similar capacity.
