About the Role

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of trade finance products such as factoring, receivables financing, and Letters of Credit, with the ability to apply this knowledge at a transaction level.

Job Description

• Manage the full lifecycle of supply chain and vendor contracts.
• Review agreements to ensure commercial terms such as pricing, delivery timelines, and quality standards meet business needs.
• Ensure contracts follow internal policies and protect the company from unnecessary risks.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline. An MBA or postgraduate qualification is a plus.
• At least 5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or contract management within a manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience handling supplier contracts and negotiations in a manufacturing company is essential.
• Good understanding of supply chain operations and how supplier contracts impact areas such as production, logistics, and sales.
• Experience working across different departments, particularly with legal and operations teams, on company-wide initiatives or projects.

We are seeking a technically rigorous and operationally elite Transport Operations Manager to lead the execution, optimization, and resilience of large-scale transport systems in Singapore. This role requires deep expertise in real-time control systems, operations research, data analytics, and incident command, ensuring high reliability across mission-critical networks.

You will be accountable for end-to-end transport operations performance, integrating engineering systems, digital platforms, and frontline execution to meet stringent regulatory and service standards.

Lead 24/7 operations through Operations Control Centers (OCC/NOC)

Manage real-time service delivery, including headway control, dispatching, and route optimization

Execute dynamic service recovery strategies during disruptions using live system data

Primary roles:

1. Take charge of the project after the construction phase, eg. prepare for TOP and handing over with partners, up till the successful handover of the estate to the resident council.

Estate Management

1. Negotiate Managing Agents Contract for new developments.
2. Ensure that that the duties of the Managing Agents are properly executed within the guidelines of the BMSMA Act.
3. Ensure that financial records are properly recorded (Before the formation of the Management Council)
4. Works collaboratively with the Managing Agents, Consultants, and other stakeholders to address various feedbacks from the residents about the estate.
5. Collate reports from Managing Agents to report on trends and feedback for Management reports.
6. Oversee Managing Agents' staff and assess their performance.
7. Maintain a positive, productive relationship with the Managing Agents to ensure that all matters are highlighted and address in a timely and effective manner.
8. Works with the Managing Agents to prepare the 1st AGM and the handing over of duties and relevant documents to the Management Council.
9. Chairs meeting with Management Council to address outstanding concerns in the development after the 1st AGM, and to works towards a conclusive resolution to all these matters (with the aid of Consultant, Main Contractors and Company's Management).

Unit Handover & Unit Defects Management

1. Negotiate Contracts from Service Providers to provide defect management services for Defects Liability Period.
2. Ensure that the Defects Management team is providing timely response to the Purchasers regarding defects in their units.
3. Ensure that the overall operational metrics are healthy, ie. Outstanding cases within a reasonable threshold.
4. Collate information and reports from Defect Management team to track trends on quality issues and to proactively work with various stakeholders, eg. Consultant and Main Contractors, towards a conclusive strategy to address each issue.
5. Ensure that quality of service is upheld throughout the whole defects rectification process through training and regular meetings.
6. Oversee the Defects Management staff and assess their performance.
7. Maintain a positive, productive relationship with the Defects Management team to ensure that all matters are highlighted and address in a timely and effective manner.
8. Well read on the various matters, eg. key legal documents, including, Sales & Purchase Agreement, and Limitation Act, to facilitate my role in addressing various issues that may be brought up by the team and for resolving disputes.
9. Ensure that the remaining amount that is withheld by SAL is disbursed timely through proper follow up of all outstanding issues with a unit.

• A proven track record as Superintendent for a minimum of 1 year in a shore based Shipping Company will have an advantage.
• Candidate who are deemed technically competent and without shore experience will be considered.
