Position: BIM Manager

Salary: Up to $7,600

Working Location: City Hall

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist in BIM management and the development, implementation, and maintenance of the BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
• Attend BIM coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Review and analyze clash detection reports; prepare presentations and propose resolution strategies.
• Coordinate and manage BIM models to ensure timely and accurate project delivery to clients.
• Work closely with Architectural, Structural, and M&E teams to develop and integrate coordinated BIM models and drawings.
• Set up and manage the Common Data Environment (CDE) to ensure proper documentation control and accessibility for both office and site teams.
• Enforce the use of BIM models for shop drawing extraction among main contractors and subcontractors, ensuring alignment between 2D drawings and 3D models.
• Develop templates for Asset Information Models (AIM) to support facility management and future BIM-related tender requirements.
• Provide BIM support during tender stages, including preparation of BIM scope of works and requirements.
• Attend technical and coordination meetings as required to support project delivery.

Requirements

• Diploma in Architecture or equivalent (Polytechnic qualification preferred).
• Minimum 8 years of relevant BIM coordination experience in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of BIM processes, standards, and coordination workflows.
• Proficient in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and related tools.
• Experience in setting up and managing CDE platforms.
• Good understanding of multi-disciplinary coordination (Architectural, Structural, and M&E).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in Singapore construction projects and familiarity with local BIM standards (e.g., BCA requirements).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or related fields; PE Board recognized degree is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, with strong M&E project management expertise and at least one completed project cycle.
• Possess Green Mark Accredited Professional (GMAP) certification is a plus.
• Experience with  HDB projects is a plus.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, BIM software, or other M&E design tools.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to supervise teams and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• In-depth knowledge of M&E systems, installation methods, and industry standards.
