This role is suited for candidates with strong experience in civil construction management, particularly in deep excavation, ERSS, diaphragm wall, piling, ground improvement, reinforced concrete works, utilities diversion and infrastructure-related works.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise civil construction works within the assigned section of the project.

• Coordinate daily site activities to ensure progress is achieved in accordance with the master programme.

• Oversee construction activities, including excavation, temporary works, piling, ERSS, reinforced concrete, drainage, roadworks and related civil works where applicable.

• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, method statements, project specifications and construction sequence.

• Monitor progress, identify delays or issues, and work with relevant stakeholders on recovery actions.

• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, site supervisors and technical teams on operational and interface matters.

• Lead or participate in site meetings, coordination meetings, toolbox briefings and inspections.

· Installing wooden structures such as roofing frames, rafters, partitions, joists and stud work

· Designing and installing cabinets, shelving, fitted furniture, drywall and insulation

· Adding fixtures and fittings such as door handles, locks, hinges and closures

· Selecting lumber by size and strength to suit each job, sourcing wood to suit the customer’s budget and style

· Calculating the number of fasteners required for each job

· Liaising with clients, suppliers and other construction professionals

· Reading blueprints and designs to work to specifications prepared by other construction professionals, architects and building code recommendations
