Join us as a Assistant Chief Engineer/Engineering Manager in Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre. You’ll have ambition, talent and obviously, some key skills. Because for this vital role, we’re looking for someone who can:

• Assist the Chief Engineer to oversees the engineering/maintenance operations of the hotel.

• Be responsible to ensure that all the engineering and maintenance activities of the hotel are conducted to the highest professional standards at all times, with guest comfort and safety being the highest priority.

• Assist the Chief Engineer in the preparation of the annual departmental operating budget and financial plans.

• Assist the Chief Engineer to develop preventive maintenance programs to ensure the facility is maintained and in service for our guests (example: lighting, refrigeration, heating, air-conditioning, water treatment systems, and pools)

• Assist the Chief Engineer to coordinate projects with general contractor and sub-contractor, and ensure quality work is performed cost-effectively

• Assist Chief Engineer to develop, implement and manage energy conservation programs for the property to minimise expenses

• Educate and train all engineering colleagues in compliance with governmental and safety regulations

• Ensure the team is properly trained and has the tools and equipment to carry out job duties

• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments

• Communicate with all hotel department heads to stay informed of maintenance needs and ensure timely responses to requests.

What We Need From You

• Certified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

• Five years operating experience in a hotel engineering department

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a supervisory position in a hotel engineering department or a related field with a proven record of accomplishment or success.

• Experience in hotel renovation is an advantage

• Advanced knowledge of building management/engineering

• Highly committed to delivering a high level of guests experience

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English, particularly to deal effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.

Overview

CIS is seeking an experienced and highly driven Head of Operations to lead the execution and delivery of all projects across Enterprise and Data Center clients. The role will oversee a team of project managers, engineers, and site teams, and will be instrumental in scaling operational capabilities as the business grows.

This position will report directly to the Managing Director and will work closely with the Sales Director and Pre-Sales teams to ensure seamless transition from solution design to project execution. However, the successful candidate will be a senior member of the CIS team at the board level, and thus, a level of proven capability and experience will be a must.

Responsibilities

● Lead the end-to-end delivery of Data Center and Enterprise projects (ICT), including structured cabling, network infrastructure, AV, and security systems

● Manage and mentor a team of Project Managers, ensuring consistent performance, accountability, and professional development.

● Establish and enforce project governance, processes, and best practices across all stages of execution.

● Oversee project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management to ensure timely and successful delivery

● Drive cost control, budgeting, and financial performance across all projects

● Manage vendor relationships, procurement strategies, and subcontractor performance to ensure quality and efficiency

● Collaborate closely with Sales and Pre-Sales teams to review project scope, validate technical solutions, and ensure smooth project handovers

● Act as the senior escalation point for project-related issues, ensuring rapid resolution and client satisfaction

● Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client-specific requirements, particularly within Data Center environments

● Develop operational strategies to scale delivery capabilities in line with business growth and market demand

● Maintain strong relationships with key clients, supporting long-term partnerships and repeat business opportunities.

Qualifications

● 10–12 years of relevant experience in project delivery and operations, with a strong focus on delivering on time, on-budget projects within the ICT Infrastructure space.

● Proven track record in delivering large-scale projects for Data center clients and/or major Enterprise clients.

● Strong technical expertise in datacenter infrastructure, including structured cabling, networking, and critical systems.

● Demonstrated experience in managing multiple project teams and complex, multi-site deployments.

● Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects and teams across differing Geographies.

● Solid understanding of project management methodologies, cost control, and contract management

● Experience in vendor management, procurement, and subcontractor coordination.

● Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

● Ability to operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a hands-on approach

● Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.

The Commercial Director provides commercial leadership that enables sustainable growth, disciplined work winning and profitable project delivery for the SJ Group. Requirements

• Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience in commercial management, contract management, bid governance, or portfolio oversight within infrastructure, engineering, or professional services environments.

• Proven experience in leading commercial strategy and governance frameworks at project and portfolio levels.

• Strong track record in overseeing bids and pursuits, including commercial due diligence, pricing strategy, and risk assessment.

• Extensive experience in contract drafting, review, and negotiation, with a solid understanding of risk allocation principles and commercial protections.

• Demonstrated ability to drive financial performance, including revenue growth, margin optimisation, cash flow management, and early issue resolution.

• Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret commercial data, forecasts, and performance metrics to inform strategic decisions.

• Experience in developing and implementing commercial tools, frameworks, and governance processes to strengthen organisational capability.

• Proven leadership experience with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, guide delivery teams, and build commercial literacy across diverse functions.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate confidently at executive level.

• High level of integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to balance commercial outcomes with long-term organisational value creation.
