This role leads a team in Lifelong Learning Singapore (LLSG) to support the delivery and continuous improvement of SkillsFuture Advice (SFA) and Skills & Training Advisory (STA) programmes across our HQ and Community Development Council (CDC) based teams.

The role works closely with Skills & Workforce Development Agency (SWDA), CDCs, government agencies, employers, training providers, community partners and other collaborators to promote jobs-skills advisory, outreach and activation efforts for individuals, including underserved and priority segments.

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead and oversee the overall business operations, strategic direction, and growth of the organisation. The CEO will be responsible for driving sustainable business performance, strengthening organisational capabilities, and ensuring alignment with the company’s long-term objectives.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Board of Directors and senior management team to enhance competitiveness, foster innovation, and expand the company’s presence within the technology sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company’s strategic plans and business objectives
• Provide overall leadership and direction to the organisation, ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness
• Drive business growth through market expansion, partnerships, and new product or service development
• Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, and clients
• Lead and develop the senior management team to achieve organisational goals
• Monitor industry trends and technological advancements to maintain competitiveness

Requirements

• At least 8-10 years of relevant leadership experience, with prior experience in a senior executive role (e.g. CEO, COO, Managing Director) within the technology sector
• Proven track record in driving business growth and organisational transformation
• Strong understanding of financial management, corporate governance, and regulatory requirements in Singapore
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage high-performing teams
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership

• Define and execute the company’s long-term vision, strategy, and growth plans
• Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and market expansion initiatives
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement across the organization

2. Business & Financial Performance

• Oversee overall P&L, ensuring revenue growth and profitability
• Establish and monitor KPIs to track business performance
• Optimize operational efficiency and resource allocation

3. Team & Organizational Leadership

• Build, lead, and develop a strong leadership team
• Foster a high-performance, accountable, and collaborative culture
• Ensure effective communication across all departments

4. Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for shareholders, partners, and key clients
• Represent the company in external engagements, including business and industry events
• Maintain strong relationships with investors and strategic partners

5. Operations & Governance

• Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and corporate governance requirements
• Oversee risk management and business continuity planning
• Ensure alignment between strategic goals and operational execution

Requirements

• Proven experience in a senior leadership role
• Strong business acumen with a track record of driving growth and profitability
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Experience in IT consultancy is preferred
• Understanding of the China market, including business environment, regulatory landscape
