Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations for furniture installation and interior projects
• Coordinate with designers, production team, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution
• Monitor work progress to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope
• Ensure all works are carried out according to drawings and specifications
• Supervise site teams and subcontractors, ensuring proper workflow and productivity
• Conduct regular site inspections and resolve on-site issues promptly
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and site regulations
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to provide updates on project status
• Prepare site reports, progress updates, and documentation

Lead a team of professional & technical trained staff in planning, daily operations, liaise with clients, consultants, sub-contractors & relevant authorities.

Ensure the construction project complies with all building codes and any other legal or regulatory requirements.

Responsible for overall project planning, scheduling, monitoring and updating to meet targets.

Manage the project sites and operations by overseeing the day to day running of all matters related to the construction of the project.

Assist in the planning and sequencing of construction operations.

Reporting to the higher Management.Candidate must possess at least Primary/Secondary School/"O" Level, Higher secondary/Pre-U/A level/College, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.

Preferably possess own transport.Have an ownership attitude, be willing and able to grow, coach and mentor.Able to manage a site team and liaise with main contractors, sub-contractors and consultants.Knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office is a must. -Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess progress, quality, and adherence to project specifications.
-Plan and manage site temporary facilities, including site access and proper storage areas.
-Monitor construction activities to ensure they comply with design specifications, contract terms, building codes, and relevant regulations.
-Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and incidents on-site.
-Maintain compliance with all statutory requirements related to health, safety, welfare, and environmental protection.
-Lead, supervise, and motivate the construction site team, including direct workers and subcontractors.
-Plan ahead to prevent problems on site and resolve any emerging issues or conflicts during construction.
-Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks associated with the project.
-Implement improvements in construction processes where necessary.

Requirements

-Minimum Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Science, or a related field. A Bachelor's degree is often preferred or required for more senior roles.

-Minimum 5-10 years of proven work experience in construction site management or a similar role

-Experience in managing various types of construction projects (e.g., residential, commercial, infrastructure, HDB, LTA, DSTA) may be specified depending on the company's focus
