Responsibilities:

• Develop new business development leads with existing and new customers
• Attend to Sales enquiries, generation of quotation
• Follow up quotation, Monitoring samples & Shipments schedules
• Work closely with Operation, Engineering & Quality teams to offer the best solutions for customers
• Ensuring proper records of sales-related documents (quotation, customer enquiries and other relevant documents)

Requirements:

• Minimum ‘O’ level or equivalent

Training and skills acquisition will be provided

• Ensure accurate financial records by preparing and posting journal entries, accruals, and period-end adjustments.

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing cycles, ensuring all deadlines are met with high data integrity.

• Prepare accounts and generate monthly and quarterly General Ledger (GL) reports.

• Support external audit processes by preparing audit schedules and relevant supporting documentation.

• Ensure all vendor bills and employee expense claims are verified, accurately recorded, and paid on time.

• Communicate with suppliers to address payment inquiries, negotiate payment terms, and maintain updated vendor profiles.

• Prepare monthly and quarterly Accounts Payable (AP) reports.

• Assist in general accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.

• Good understanding of reconciliation processes (technical and/or functional) within enterprise systems.
• Working knowledge of Kafka messaging platform for event-driven or asynchronous data processing.
• Proven experience working with large data volumes, including data ingestion into databases and applying performance tuning techniques.
• Good-to-have experience with PowerShell or shell scripting for automation and operational support.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work in complex environments.

Job Purpose:

Efficiently undertake a range of duties related to the accounting/bookkeeping/treasury function of the business.

Key responsibilities:

1)    Perform full spectrum of Accounts Payable and fixed asset function for several legal entities including invoice posting

Senior Research Fellow in Computational Modelling of Smart Knitted Textiles

We seek a Senior Research Fellow (3–5 years postdoctoral experience) to join a multidisciplinary team working on computational modelling of knitted textile structures for energy harvesting applications. The postholder will develop and apply advanced modelling and data-driven methods to establish quantitative links between textile architecture and functional performance, working in close collaboration with experimental colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and validate computational models of knitted fabric structures, capturing the mechanical behaviour of complex knit architectures under various loading conditions.
• Establish quantitative relationships between textile structural parameters — such as stitch geometry, yarn properties, and knit pattern — and functional energy harvesting performance.
• Apply data-driven and machine learning techniques to accelerate model-based design and reduce reliance on physical prototyping.
• Validate model predictions against experimental data generated by collaborating groups and work closely with fabrication teams to inform design recommendations.
• Contribute to the broader research programme through independent scholarly initiative and collaboration with partner groups.

Requirements
